Title: Do jinn pass 'wind' or whatever?
Post by: Heba E. Husseyn on July 19, 2008, 04:43:32 am
I know this sounds like a joke   ;D 8))  I came across the following content in Yahoo Questions & Answers.

"Some nights, very late at night we hear 'farting' sounds in the house and it comes from empty rooms, downstairs (when everybody is upstairs and in vacant hallways. The sad thing about is that sometimes you can be in a room by yourelf, then all of a sudden something starts to smell real bad, just like a SBD fart. Our family has come to the conclusion that our house is haunted with a ghost having a serious gas problem. Could this be true?"

Then someone else replies:

"Yes it can be true. Believe me. Some people leave some smells behind them after they die. It's some sort of communication. I have heard about a house, where you can most of the times smell cigarette and coffee, but no one is smoking or drinking coffee. Later the house owner heard that his house is haunted by a man's ghost who lived in that house many years ago and his wife died there. And the owner said he can here voices like, "I love you Mary", but no one is there.  The ghost isn't farting, it is just making a smell like that from nowhere."

Well, there is NO such thing as "man's ghost."  Human spirit or nafs never returns to earth.  It's stays wherever Allah decides to keep it until the Day of Judgement.  That fart could be true, coming from a visiting or guest jin.

Of course there is no such thing as "ghosts" because departed souls cannot return.  So it must be a jinn tooting.
