Our Glorious Quran is such a perfect and complete code of life. It's got nothing lacking in it, Alhamdulilah. The problem is with the people. We don't pay any attention to it, and instead only keep following the writings & fatwas of the imams that contain plenty of distortions and contradictions of the Truth revealed in the final Message of Allah Almighty.
