Title: Dust is my bed
Post by: Zeynab on June 26, 2010, 01:33:45 am
"Dust is my bed. It embraces me.

Where is the bliss of money? It's left behind my back.
Where is the reputation I achieved in life. It's all gone.
This is my end. Dust is my bed.

And the universe becomes narrow and so is my grave.
Fear fills my privacy and sadness diseases me.

I seek immortality and I swear that's my only cure.
I sincerely worship Allah. You are our only hope

This is a very touching reminder for the apathetic human mind. I like the way the course of life has been summarised .. incredibly inspiring. The unthinking man presumes it's the "end." But no, it's the journey to the threshold of the REAL IMMORTAL LIFE, and we just need to pause a little at this threshold until woken up again by Allah's command. Whether that immortal life be eternal pleasure or eternal torment depends upon our efforts in this mortal life as we speak now. What's certain is that none will be wronged for Divine Justice is flawless. Praise be to Allah Almighty, the One and Only. And peace, love and blessings on His final Messenger.

Subhan'Allah ,, that was moving, very very moving.  Sure, there can be nothing more inspiring than the truth.  And yes sister, that's right, this is the journey to the threshold of the permanent life.  May Allah (The Greatest, the One and Only) grant a good report to all of us who have been striving for his mercy and bounty, and who have been carefully following His Message.  May Allah accept our sacrifices, prayers and dua.  Ameen.  The Day of Judgment will shortly follow the death of every individual.  It will be very, very, very crucial Day.  May Allah help all believers.  Ameen.

one of the best reminders i've seen.  most people would need it everyday to eventually get humbled by the truth.

Thanks very much sister.

This was exhilarating to watch and a pleasure to read your input Sister.

What's ironic is, this inspiring song is apparently sung by the residents of the oil rich Arabian gulf states where their leaders are the most mindless of this reality.  I sincerely pray to Allah The Almighty that those beastly leaders find guidance and turn into human beings before it's time for them to go into their dust beds.

Darn right Sis.  And it happened just recently.  From his dazzling palace Abdullah is now in his dust bed yet the ones left behind remain oblivious of the truth.
