Title: Rich Siegel "In Palestine" on "The Struggle"
Post by: Zainab_M on August 09, 2010, 04:26:14 am
I thought this was interesting and worth putting up.  Have any of you heard to the Jewish songwriter, Rich Siegel?  He is said to be supporting the Palestinians against the Zionist occupation and has sung a song for the children of Gaza on piano.  The tune of the song isn't that nice but the wordings sound sympathetic.

thanks sis.  Actually I had not known of this guy until now.  Yes, it's encouraging to know that even Jews are getting critical of their own folks.  Zionists are blind to their faults if told verbally or through writings.  Maybe songs by their own people may make them realize the brutality of occupation and what the poor Gazans are going through.  Let's pray for it.

u r right sister Cat.  Certainly the Jews as a nation need to do a lot more than just singing songs.  I pray that this is the first step and it will lead to greater realization among the Jews at large, reaching the zionist circles.
