I honestly like this one.  Makes tons of sense.

Yeah, very logical one.  The failure arises when parents fail to realize that what goes around comes around.   If you want a better planet in the future, you cannot get it on a silver platter.  You gotta work for it by training the future generation.

Exactly, very correctly said.

I agree 200%.   Fortunately all my young nephews and nieces have been (and are being) given very good teachings about life and afterlife.  They're really great kids - humble and rational with no silly big talks.  When kids grow up and tread the wrong path, it's usually the parents who are to blame though not always.  Sometimes kids well raised by good parents also slip and fall during adulthood.  May Allah protect children from misguidance and grant realization to their parents of the importance of a wise upbringing.

Mash'Allah, very good to learn about your wonderful nephews & nieces.  My kids are much the same.  All praise be to Allah.  What you mentioned about the importance of upbringing is absolutely spot on.  It's unfortunate that many a times in today's world some parents can be even more immatured than their young kids.  They think that a "good upbringing" only involves sending their children to posh western schools and colleges.  They are completely oblivious about opening the doors of negative company their children might surrounded with and its far-reaching affects on their lives.

Exactly sister.

Good one sister Heba.  And this discussion thread is truly wise and far-sighted.  Good family values become rooted within an entire family & extended family by the constant hard work of the older generation for the younger ones.  It must to be an ongoing process otherwise those important values are bound to be abandoned by some future generation at some point.  And once lost, it's difficult to regain them.  Time stops for no one, and every young generation of today is the older generation of tomorrow.
