 salamem

yeah we are also expecting eid on thursday , 8 august .I do not see any attraction or the reason of eid celebrations when many Muslims are suffering and everyday innocent people are dying anyways For some of positive thinkers Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated because Allah gave us the strength to pass Ramadan without any difficulties so am hoping the practice is really done well and muslim around the world have truely feels the essence of submission and experiences what his needy and hungry brothers and sisters feel who are forced to go without food and drink for many days, unfortunately for many of folks eid is a celebration of just end of fasting and the return ticket to the life they used to live but dear brothers and sister eid is not an occasion to take a vacation from religious responsibilities and commitments nor to waste time and money in extravagance ,celebration in limitations are not bad anyhow but It is not fun for the sake of fun rather it is controlled and directed rejoicing that is of ultimate and definite benefit for the believers  eid is an occasion to increase in good deeds eid marks the conclusion of an important worship and the determination to continue in obedience and submission to Allah ,eid is a chance to multiply good deeds by bringing happiness and pleasure to the hearts of other muslims by helping and supporting the poor and needy and also keep inviting each other towards the  teachings of Quran to build the strong islamic character of true believer please be unite And hold fast, all of you together, to the cable of Allah, and do not separate 3:103 please keep urself in the practice of good deeds and don't waste your one month training please continue job is not finished yet with eid celebrations

And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise 9:71

May Allah shower us with His ,guidence, blessings and bounties!! ameen

 Eid-ul-Fitr Mubarak everyone :)

Walaikum Salam.  Eid-al-Fitr mubarak to all.  Yes, let us take this as a gesture of thanking Allah Almighty for making the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of the Noble Quran, pass well for all of us.  Unfortunately most Muslims don't take it that way.  For them it's a time for lavish celebration and a discreet relief for Ramadan being over.

Very sweet family pic and great assortment of chocolates .. I'm enjoying eating them!

:D  Wa'salam and Eid Mubarak dear all.  Yeah, let's utilize this as an opportunity to thank Allah for His infinite mercy and giving us another chance to experience the blessed month of the Noble Quran.  Alhumdulilah, everyone in my household completed all 30 fasts successfully, except for my two youngest kids of course who didn't fast  :)  One is 7 and youngest is 4 months.
