OR Read ! Beautiful message from Muhammad Ash-Shinqitee !!

If you find yourself that many days pass, and you have not read anything from the book of Allah then cry over yourself!

For by Allah! No one has been prevented from obeying his Lord in doing any good except that this is a proof from his distance from Allah

So if you find yourself that many days pass and the book of Allah has no share in your days and during your hours of night

Then CRY over yourself!

Ask Allah the Mighty and Glorious for protection!

And place yourself in front of Allah the Mighty and Glorious-returning to him and seeking his forgiveness.

For all of this is due to a sin between you & Allah (swt)

And now the people have made Hijra from the book of Allah whilst the salaf would attach themselves strongly to the book of Allah
and the difference between these two parties is due to the trials that have afflicted us-in age

And what would make you know that perhaps a trial in your body, or your hearing, or a trial regarding your private part has extinguished the light of faith in your heart !

So then because of this you didn't bother yourself with the book of Allah, nor did you love to read it!

So the abundance of sins in this era has diverted the people from obedience and worship . And our share of goodness from the book of Allah is much less than that of the first generations

Those whom by their hands, much good was spread and much evil was suppressed

So we ask Allah Al-Mighty and Glorious that He encompasses us with His Mercy and Clemency!

And the best cure for this problem is to flee from Allah to Allah
And whoever wishes to gain closeness to the Qur'an that he should flee from trials, tribulations (fitna)

And to distance himself from any evil that would distance him from the book of Allah

Whether it was related to his hearing or his sight or his private parts or his hands or his tongue

He distances himself from all of THAT

The salaf would leave off any non-beneficial talk out of fear of falling into that which was forbidden

So how about us ,when we have fallen into backbiting and spreading tales and other then that of sin ?

Very good lecture (if he really meant  only the Quran) and many, many thanks for putting up our Muslim Villa note at the end, my sis  :D    But would Sheikh Muhammad Mukhtar Ash-Shinqitee be happy if he visited Muslim Villa?  I have my doubts.  From whatever bit I've heard  of him, he is a Hadithist .. cannot do without Abu Huraira & co.

I know this lecture appears to focus completely on the Quran.  But you know what?   The followers of the so-called Sunnah take Hadith to be so much for granted as an indispensable explanation for the Quran, that even when they talk only about the Quran (as in this lecture), they actually mean Quran & Hadith in unspoken words.  As the Sheikh stated " ... when we have fallen into .. spreading tales ..." and if we ask him, "isn't Hadith spreading of tales?"  I'm sure he will never agree, rather he will fly into a rage.

I would also like to find out that does he use the term "salaf" alluding to the present-day salafs like the Sauds, wahabs, al-Qaeda and Talibans?   Or is he simply using this term as a common noun symbolic of a faithful or loyal believer?   Quoting him:  "And now the people have made Hijra from the Book of Allah while that the salaf would attach themselves strongly to the Book of Allah .... The salaf would leave off any non-beneficial talk out of fear of falling into that which was forbidden."  Well, what we see the salafs doing today is treachery, bombing, killing, beheading, raping, power grabbing, making outrageous rules in the name of Shariah which have no connections with the Quran and making $$$$ deals with the West and Israel.  Though some folks claim there is a difference between Wahabiis and Salafiis, the reality is that I see no difference in their ideology at all.  The term Wahabii began sounding derogatory to some because it was named after a man and signified following a human ideology.  So they changed it to Salafii meaning predecessors or ancestors, referring to earliest Muslims.  The earliest Muslims in the Arabian Peninsula (after Prophets Abraham and Ishmael) were Prophet Mohammed (pbuh), his family and close friends and certainly NONE of them had anything to do with these awful salafs we see today.  Salafs are just the opposite of the earliest Muslims.  But 95% of sheikhs and imams won't accept this fact.

 salamem sis ruhi

oh another hypocrite how sad, acctully sis i don't listen his lectures , i received this video link and i liked that but i agree with Ur Quoting of sheikh ,he may have meant the same what U have pointed . Hmm @ also there was one hadith in this original video lecture which i have received edited ,i did too and put the mv note at the end i thought via only this nice hearing lecture I can call people here to read on MV ( as according to the best rule ever intro first and MV don't allow any time wasters to debate in favour of Hadith which i appreciates very much ,so there will be no problem but after knowing what U sate about him and as hadith lover am sure it would be heart breaking for him if he ever visited MV  :D

sis do let me know ? i don't want to cause MV any problem ,if u suggest i will remove this video ? and in future if Sheikh Muhammad Mukhtar Ash-Shinqitee will have any problem or objection on MV Note ,i will delete his video to simply considered a hypocrite ,if he cant do without abu hurira we cant do with abu hurira.Who cares sis if he will agree or disagree with us ?  We don't want to convinced them either if they have already decided to live in darkness then No One could help their poor soul :(

No sis.  Don't remove it.   Let's just pick the good things he said which we take for granted means only the Quran.   The things we don't agree with, we can mention them.   That's why I mentioned those two points - spreading tales which Muslims learn from Hadith but he didn't hint on Hadith, and he is praising the Salafs which is of course not correct at all.   LOL!  Actually I have also been fooled by these guys many time in the past.  But now I'm quite an expert in catching them.  Sometimes they cleverly don't mention the Hadith to attract people to their lectures.  But if one concentrates on their talks carefully, it's quite easy to catch where they're coming from.   However much some of them try to hide their traditionalism, they will make at least one of two slips and get caught.  The moment I read him speaking favorably of the Salaf claiming that they "attach themselves strongly to the Book of Allah," I knew he is not our kind.  LOL  ;D   Some other things he said were right that today Muslims have forgotten the Quran.  But Salafs have forgotten the Quran the most and he said the opposite.

Brother Murteza also put up two or three videos of another imam, Nouman Ali Khan.  His lectures are also the same .... one thing they say might be correct and then they mix it up with with some absurdity.

Periodically it's a good idea to put a few of these lectures.  It will make it easier for our readers and viewers to make a comparison and understand the difference between them and us.

Correct u are right sis i thought the same ''just pick the good things he said ''  BUT that's  awfully sad that they, themselves are not aware of their own error,  Mixing lie with truth is also a dual misguidance ?  :( I  wish, if our scholar could understood that despite of all their information ,studies and knowledge ,being sheikh or scholar or alim why they are unable to invite ummah on one straight path (The Quran)  ? what is the reason of their miserable failures ? yup all credit goes to ur so called imam's made false tales & stories and u are spreading those tales urself.

The Quran and the Hadith are two different directions, following both means u just Trying to Walk on Two Paths at the same time. So As No one can walk on two paths at the same time likewise No one can follow Quran (The book of Allah ) and the men made hadith books at the same time.

lol ,, yes, I also think if this sheikh visits MV he will be furious.  He won't agree with anything we say.  He will only end up committing blasphemy by insulting the Quran as many of them have done many times by saying things like ...."if something is approved by Shariah + Hadith, it's valid even if the Quran does not allow it."  Nauzbillah.

Another tactic which many of them follow, for example Harun Yahya and maybe this sheikh as well, they make their Quran and Hadith lectures separate.  When Harun Yahya gives a lecture on the Quran, he doesn't speak of the Hadith at all.  Then when he lectures on Hadith, then it's just Hadith and no Quran.  Many Quran alone followers have gotten duped by Harun Yahya thinking he observes only the Quran.  The truth is that Harun Yahya is just as much a Hadither as any other traditional imam.

when we have fallen into .. spreading tales ..." and if we ask him, "isn't Hadith spreading of tales?"  I'm sure he will never agree, rather he will fly into a rage.

Hahaha, yes.  That's a very typical habit of Hadithers.  They will pic a negative point for criticism and lambast it.  But if you show them half a dozen Ahadith which contain exactly the same weakness, they will get mad .... furious.
