If you cannot memorize this dua, don't worry .... simply write it on a piece of paper and read it any time once a day. If you read it more often, so much the better! Also try to print this image, if possible, and keep it with yourself. The dua is in Arabic with Urdu translation. I will translate it into English for those who don't know Arabic nor Urdu. English translation: BismAllah Ar Rehman Ar Raheem This dua is to be recited in every situation of life. Ya Allah, I ask You for a perfect and complete iman, a firm belief, a good provision, a humble heart, a tongue that praises You, a source of income that is Halal and clean, the ability to repent (make taubah) sincerely, the ability to repent (make taubah) prior to death, a peaceful death, forgiveness, protection and Your mercy after death, forgiveness on the Day of Judgement, please grant us Paradise, please keep us away from Hellfire, I beg You for all of this by getting close to Your mercy, You, the Most Respected, You, the Most Forgiving, O Allah, my Provider, increase me in knowledge, grant me the company of the righteous. Also a very comprehensive one which excludes nothing, except just one more thing which needs to be added in my opinion - requesting Allah to enable us to offer charity to the needy, whatever bit each person is capable of giving.
Actually, the world is getting a tougher place to live in by the day. High cost of living keeping on rising. Employers becoming stingy. Only a small number of rich are getting richer, but even the middle class are getting poorer along with those already poor. Thus during dua what immediately comes to the mind of a person is asking Allah to grant sufficient provision for the family that usually leaves little or no superfluous money left. Alas! Thanks for your statement dear brother. I couldn't agree more. That's a very important point emphasized in the Noble Quran many, many times .. to pay the poor due. Unfortunately this planet has turned into such a frightening dystopian community that the small group of privileged folks of the business world can only think of personal benefits .... squeezing the labor & time of the masses to the maximum with minimal payback coupled with sky-high taxes. In most cases the masses take home just enough to meet their own requirements. It has left everyone thinking of their own tomorrows. Truly sad :(
