Husseyn on April 07, 2017, 05:29:57 am ” .... the (bad) breath (of a fasting person) is better in the sight of Allah than the fragrance of musk.” This nonsense was spoken by Abu Huraira in a To all Hadith followers: I hope you folks know that according to the principles of the Noble Quran it's very important to maintain physical cleanliness & hygiene under normal circumstances. If you're fasting, it's still more important. Therefore, for the sake of Allah Almighty, do not follow that filthy hadith of Abu Huraira where he mentions (by misquoting the Prophet pbuh) that if your mouth stinks during fasting, it will be considered better than the fragrance of musk in the Sight of Allah. Allah never said any such thing. This man, Huraira, is only teaching Muslims to ignore hygiene by using the name of our beloved Prophet. If we're fasting and we have access to all amenities as in normal life and as long as we are physically healthy to move around, we must keep rinsing our mouth periodically during fasting to make sure no bad breath emits. On top of being untruthful, Mr. Huraira was apparently a lazy man who wasn't too enthusiastic about washing and cleaning. As time goes by, my utter disgust for this lying institution called Hadith deepens, Alhumdulilah. I really don't care if it isolates me from our mainstream trad sisters & brothers.
