"And We rescued him and Lot (and brought them) to the land which We have blessed for (all) peoples." (21:71). "And unto Solomon (We subdued) the wind in its raging. It set by his command toward the land which We had blessed. And of everything We are Aware." (21:81). Salams folks. Would anyone know which country is referred to as "land which We have/had blessed" in the above two Verses of Surah Al-Anbiya? According to some commentators it refers to Syria and Palestine. But it's impossible for anyone to confirm except Allah The Almighty. Some commentaries e.g. the Jalalyn tafsir claim that Lut settled in Syria from Iraq, and Abraham in Palestine. These are the two places referred to as blessed land. But really, we cannot confirm. It might, I repeat might, be true. Only Allah knows for sure. Moreover, presumptions such as Lut's name to be "Haran," that he was Prophet Abraham's brother and he formerly lived in Iraq are also unconfirmed information. I don't know from where they got all this; Ahadith or the altered bibles are obviously the tainted sources. This is from the changed bibles .... from one of those deceitful versions. Coming to the other issue, some other versions of the changed bibles claim Prophet Lut was Prophet Ibrahim's nephew. These random speculations that circulate as established information are endless, they keep altering and need to stop.
