Alhumdulilah a million times yet again! (https://i.imgur.com/yRXXpGp.jpg) When butterflies are hungry, they taste their food with their hind feet. That's how they are able to know if a leaf or a flower is edible. Butterflies (and probably some moths too) have their taste organs along their feet enabling them to taste the sugar in flowers and various plants. All they need to do is to stand on their food.
