I was truly disappointed to learn this. They say pets cause allergy to many passengers. Isn't it amazing that airlines could allow people to smoke on aircraft for so many years. They allowed smoking in the plane in particular smoking areas. So why shouldn't it be possible to allow pets in particular areas of the cabin? Why ban them altogether. On television they mentioned that they'll be bannng pets from the baggage area as well because of shortage of space or something to that affect. All this can be too upsetting for pet owners. Those who have pets and love them will understand the anxiety. Pets are just like our kids. Can anyone ever go off travelling leaving their kids behind? Definitely not.
