Salaam Alaikum and hi all.

There was this cute news story on TV about a lovely little miniature pony called Buckley.  In the Canadian province of British Columbia, Buckley has been adopted as a house pet by a lady.  Being a miniature horse, Buckley is barely 68 cms in height, greyish silver in color, fluffy with a long thick tail.  Buckley's owner is so attached to him that she takes him out with a leash just like one would walk a pet dog.  And here's the sweetest part of the story.  When Buckley goes out, his owner makes him wear small running shoes fitted in his four hoofs .. so when he comes back home, his 'feet' remain clean  Smiley

But this story also has an unhappy side to it.  According to one of the many bylaws in British Columbia, farm animals are not allowed to be kept at home.  Some neighbor complained about Buckley staying at home with his owner to the authorities.  The owner was summoned to court and told that she must remove Buckley from her home.

However, the owner's devotion to her lovely pet is too deep.  She won't give up.  She says that Buckley is her pet and belongs at home.  She's hired a lawyer for Buckley, who's known as Buckley's lawyer.  He is fighting in court for Buckley to be permitted to stay at home with his owner.

Let's keep praying to Allah that the problem is resolved and the pet and its owner are not separated.

Below is a pic of a miniature horse.  These aren't photos of Buckley (as I couldn't find any pics of him) but Buckley looks exactly like these.

Of course the court has no right to interfere in something like this.

I just wonder how the owner potty trains the pony.  If she keeps him indoor, she'll need to potty train him otherwise the pony will poop on the carpet, in the bedroom and all over the house.

Soooo sweeeet!!!  teethsmile

Br. PT, I don't think potty training a miniature pony is any more different than potty training a dog or cat.  After all, the lady is already keeping him inside her house.  If the little pony was pooping all over the house, she wouldn't be able to cope by now.
