Great link with vast and full info on healthy foods.  Maybe I'll do an online course on healthy eating with the help of this link and educate some of our community members.  I've observed many Muslims who are just concerned with pleasing their taste buds with little consideration about the healthy contents in the food they eat.  Something should be done to bring awareness of a proper diet in them.

Btw -- what's organic food?  I hear so much about it.

Hmmm .. that's exactly what I too would like to do some day, InshAllah.  Since it's a vast field, the info will have to be classified in different sections and then studied.   This link is the right place to educate oneself systematically on healthy eating and teach the same to others.

Organic foods are grown without synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.  Neither are any synthetic chemcials nor additives used in organic finished food products.  But organic food is at least 30% more costly than regular products in the stores.  In think that's the reason organic items aren't common in spite of being popular.
