November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

 BismEm
 salamem everyone

The last sermon of the Prophet (pbuh) was witnessed by the thousands, yet today, the following paragraph of the Last Sermon has three different versions as listed below the quote.

"O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QUR'AN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray."

1) I leave with you Quraan and Sunnah
Muwatta, 46/3

2) I leave with you Quran and Ahl al-bayt
Muslim 44/4, Nu2408; ibn hanbal 4/366; darimi 23/1, nu 3319.

3) I leave you for the Quran alone you shall uphold it.
Muslim 15/19, nu 1218; ibn Majah 25/84, Abu dawud 11/56.

The contradictions seem very obvious which shouldn't have been there if the Last Sermon was well preserved.   I find this confusing.  Please enlighten me with your comments, if possible.

 wsalam  cat

As a hadith adherent i would say both the first and second ones r correct.  please don't ask me for any references  teethsmile .. i'm speaking with the help of my intuition.  however, logically, i do agree with u that there is obviously a contradiction.  Since the last khutba was given just once by the Prophet (SAAW), one would expect it to have just one version.  beyond that, Allaho Aalim.

Walaikum Salaam all.  I had compiled precisely the same article from another forum (perhaps your source is also the same) .. and sent it to several people for comments and an acceptable response.  No one had any answers for the apparent inconsistency in this portion of the khutba.  But they were all quite quick at getting upset.

I would also appreciate if someone could enlighten me on this issue.

Well, it's a blatant manipulation, and manipulators are never interested in enlightening anyone.  They have no substance to enlighten others with.  Thus, their only response is to either get upset and yell or keep beatin around the bush.  Most unfortunate  Sad

Last weekend at a family dinner in our house we were discussing this issue.  My brother-in-law said he tried hard to get the most authentic version of this hadith but couldn't.  Actually I was told that there are many more versions than just three, just like the forged bible.  Even though it's said that the Prophet (SAW) delivered this khutbah before 100,000 people, still no one was able to preserve the original words of the Prophet (SAW).  This points to yet another evidence that the Prophet had forbidden peole from writing his words except the Quran.  Otherwise some persons present there would have written his (SAW) original words.  Though that wouldn't have helped because the imams and so-called ulemas would have changed it anyway.  However, even if they didn't write it, how come they couldn't remember the correct words of the Prophet and pass on the truth down the generations instead of passing on falsehoods in dozens of versions?  Sunnis, shiias, wahabis, salafis, brailvis, deobandis etc. etc. all have their own fictional versions.  Just imagine, if Allah (Subhana Wa'Tala) had not taken the responsibility to protect the Quran, what these dangerous fanatics and unethical shameless goofs of different sects would have done to the Noble Quran?  They would have surely changed the Quran too but now they can do nothing.  They cannot defeat Allah Almighty.  And InshAllah, these astounding thieves will dwell in Hell for their very bad intentions toward Islam.  Because they couldn't touch the Quran, so they have introduced their lies thru hadith.  How determined they were to mess up Islam!

that's very correct.  and if u tell this to the mainstream, whichever sect, they will say "no, it has just one version" and then they'll pick the one they have been told to believe in by their imams and the elders of their family.  E.g. if u tell this to a sunni, they will say "the Prophet said Quran and Sunnah."  Similarly, a shiia will say "the Prophet said Quran and Ahle Bait."  So, all those numerous versions have been fitted into every respective sect and for them it's "just one version."  No wonder the curse of Allah is upon this selfish & unethical Ummah.
