It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

V.57:20 is one of my most remembered ones.   It reminds me that there's a difference being a 'muflis' (poor) in this world and in the Hereafter.  In this world, a finacially bankrupt person with no money, resources or social standing will be considered a muflis.  It's a pretty different situation in the other world where there's no concept of money, dollars, gold, pearl, rubbies and classy homes to give a plus to our pesonalities.  The only two kinds of wealth that will give you a promotion for the ultimate success are your Iman and good deeds.  Whoever was a true believer while living on earth and had performed at least some good deeds with a sincere intent will be rich in the Sight of Allah.  On the contrary, a person who might have been rolling in wealth in earthly life, been influential and famous, but never bothered to look upon Allah with the trust, devotion and respect that's always His due, will be the real muflis on the Day of Reckoning.  The busy and impressive earthly past of such a person will seem like a remote and dysfunctional era.  It would be the ultimate loss and such a terrible plight that I wouldn't even wish it for my worst enemies.

It's strange how worldly attractions can distract and corrupt human minds.  However, it's to be remembered that the Quran has nothing against wealth by itself.  If a wealthy person is able to keep his priorities straight, maintain his humility before Allah, not allow his wealth and earthly successes to get into his head and instead use his successes to strengthen his Faith .. to realise that without Allah's unseen succour there can be no success, for such a person the reward in the Hereafter would be huge.

Say: He is the Beneficent. In Him we believe and in Him we put our trust. And ye will soon know who it is that is in error manifest. 67:29

Peace sister Zeynab,

Just wanted to say, you wonderfully pointed an important attribute of many ignorant people who have not grasped true faith. It is precisely because they do not have true faith in Allah and the Hereafter that they can engage in unwise and imprudent deeds, despite praying, fasting, and going on Hajj. This also indicates the level of sincerity they really have during those ritualistic acts of worship. Thanks for your thoughts sister and thanks to everyone who contributed their valuable wisdom on this subject. Smiley May Allah have mercy on us all.

There'a a verse in the Glorious Quraan that describes this situation in a manner that's so articulate and complete, it's like portraying the behaviour and trend of billions of people of this world in a single ayat.  Please read below.  The truth, accuracy and far-sightedness of the following verse can wake up a person in the deepest of slumber.

"Know that the life of the world is only play, and idle talk, and pageantry, and boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children; as the likeness of vegetation after rain, whereof the growth is pleasing to the husbandman, but afterward it drieth up and thou seest it turning yellow, then it becometh straw. And in the Hereafter there is grievous punishment, and (also) forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure, whereas the life of the world is but matter of illusion."  (57:20) Al-Hadid

Peace be to you sister Zeynab,

Thank you very much for the Verse. Yes indeed, this Verse doesnt get any clearer. It is these Verses which the wrongdoers despise and increase in their wrongdoings when they listen to the Qur'an. Their ambition is this world. But best for those who believe is the next.

Thanks again sister.

Peace be to you brother Persian,

That was superbly put brother! Thanks very much. You are 100% right and may Allah increase you in your wisdom brother.
We will stand before Allah on a Day, only those who abided by the way of life decreed by Allah will be successful. There is no doubt about this fact. All evil doers will be removed from the believers, and inshaAllah we will be with those entering Paradise. How can they turn away when Allah fashioned them in the best way and gave them so much in this world? Yet they take the pleasures of the world and do not even spend the time of blinking an eye to think about who created them and about their purposes in life. The wrongdoers are indeed in the Fire. Allah save us all from the terrible punishment prepared for those who denied Him and chased their egos instead.

Thanks again brother.

Yes .. very well put, really.  though such facts often annoy even many so-called Muslims, however facts are facts.  no one can change them.  Thank u so much br. Pt for such a useful reminder.

When I registered, they were not activating my account either until I had to email them. So would it be possible for you to contact them here?

I finally got into this one.  Will InshAllah try again at Islamica web which just isn't accepting any user IDs .. so it seems.

At easy talk I want to post on why i'm disillusioned with hadith though I don't think there's any point for a debate.  The only reason i wanted to post this on hadith is because from what I gathered from a quick glance out there, some are propagating gross minunderstandings against sincere Quraan followers.

OK .. I've put this post on easy-talk today.

wow! My dear sister, this is absolutely amazing work you have done. Precisely my thoughts and I could not have said it better. This is something we frequently encounter when discussing the Qur'an being a Guide, they quickly put down the Qur'an's compilation to generations way after the Prophet when the Prophet Himself must have compiled the Qur'an and this is evident as you say from the Qur'an it self. They furthermore, try to elevate the status of of people who lived in the eras following the Prophet and glorify them, without attributing the preserverence of the Qur'an to Allah, the eternal.

Thank you very much my dear sister, that was very refreshing to read indeed. I pray Allah reward your efforts and blesses you with more wisdom and rewards you with Paradise.

About Islamicaweb, Im not sure why it is not allowing you to sign up. I had a look at the 'Members List' section and found that the following names are registered already:

Zainab, Zainab1, zainab, zainab786, Zaineb, Zeinab, zenab, zeynab

Hope this helps.

Take care & speak to you soon inshaAllah.
