November 01, 2023, 03:43:43 pm Ruhi_Rose: Yes .. making lots of dua everyday ..... watching those real life video clips, my face feels wet with tears all the time.  May ALLAH grant the best to these wonderful, brave & steadfast martyrs,  Ameen ya Allah.
November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.
October 26, 2023, 03:40:19 pm N. Truth Seeker: Don't forget to look up MV Blog Zainab's Lounge for our Gaza updates.
October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

BismEm

Have you ever thought how inherent it is of human nature to follow misguidance a lot more readily than guidance?  Also, human nature is more prone to obeying and accepting the words and rules of their fellow human beings rather than the Divine Commandments.  History itself is witness to that.  From the time of Prophet Ibraheem (pbuh) down to Essa, son of Mary (peace be on them), Divine Scriptures have been systematically altered and replaced by man-made laws which people found more convenient and beneficial.   Thus, regardless of principles, they erased or distorted the dictates of Almighty Allah and implemented their own rules and laws into the Divine Scriptures.  They hid / abolished much of all of the Divine statements / dictates. replacing with their own words.

After the passing of Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be on him) the Muslims too began getting divided into sects and madhabs.  Different groups wanted to follow their own interpretations turning them into laws.  Some slipped back to idolatry.  Some wanted to revive the old Jewish and Christian practices as mentioned in the altered Torah and the Gospel.  Many of those who were 'Muslims' by lip service did not find the Quran convenient enough to suit their selfish needs and desires.  But since Almighty Allah has made a promise in the Quran that He will protect His Final Scripture from getting corrupted by human hands, therefore, somehow no one could muster the courage nor get around to altering the Quran.  The Quran, as per the Words of The Almighty:  "But this is an honored Qur'an.  On a guarded tablet." (85:21-22).  The original words in the Quran for "guarded tablet" is "Lawhin Mahfuzin."  Being unable to change the Quran with human interpolations, majority of the Muslims devised a separate channel to implement these interpolations.  This separate channel is the Hadith.  Hence, history repeated itself.

Almighty Allah says in the Quran that if the idolaters were told to believe in One God, they would refuse saying that all their ancestors had been idolaters for centuries.  They felt that all of their forefathers couldn't be wrong.  They preferred to follow their ancestors blindly without reasoning and reflecting on the Quran because they were convinced that the majority could never go wrong.

If we see the situation today regarding the interpolations introduced by sources outside the Quran which have been embraced by the majority of present-day Muslims, the scenario seems to have a similar trend.  The mainstream majority claim that all of their jurists, spiritualists and sheikhs along with many of their naive followers who accept these interpolations cannot be wrong.  It's quite an identical situation compared to the idolaters of the Prophet's time who wouldn't quit their idols because of their forefathers.  In the case of the Muslims at present, the idols and forefathers have been replaced with the Hadith and sheikhs, respectively.  But the mindset is the same and the mistake is similar.

Among the Christians, majority of them of all sects believe Essa to be the son of God (AstaghfarAllah).  There are a few among Christians who realize the gross incorrectness and the huge violation of this misguided concept, and so they reject it.  They look upon Essa (son of Virgin Mary) only as a Prophet and a human being which is the right concept and the truth.  But such ones in the entire global Christian community are very few .. just a small minority.  However, it's the minority that is RIGHT.  The majority is WRONG.

Again, it's much the same with the mainstream Muslims today.  Majority accept Hadith and fatwas as part of Islam.  For all practical purposes, they hold the Hadith above the Quran.  Most of them refuse to read, understand or even accept the Quran on its own without the Hadith (even though the Hadith has contributed nothing to explain the Quran).   Although Allah Almighy has confirmed that His Final Message is "completed" and "perfected" (Verse 5:3), yet majority of Muslims today do not even consider the Quran to be complete without the Hadith and are totally oblivious of the enormity of their oversight.  These people are more influenced by the explanations and speeches of their imams and sheikhs rather than the commandments and principles of the Noble Quran. They are unable to comprehend how all their teachers and "ulemas" could be wrong despite the fact that many ahadith and fatwas blatantly clash with Quranic values and dictates.

Just like the Jews and Christians, we Muslims have also strayed from the Truth.

Though the Message of Allah (The Quran) is fully intact and original, it has been abandoned on the shelves, wrapped with velvet covers.  In most households it is only displayed as a piece of ornament but never opened and read for reflection and understanding.  Unfortunately Muslims today seek guidance only from the clerics.  It's only a small minority of Muslims who realize the ignorance of the majority of brethren.

As if the violations of the manipulative traditionalists isn't bad enough, we are also faced with the scourge of the manipulative modernists.  These modernists have now also infiltrated into the Muslim community with the labels of Free Minders, Khalifites, etc., individual cultish groups, atheists and agnostics.  They transgress by misinterpreting the Quranic Laws in their own different ways as suits them.

Thus, we need to beware and be extra cautious in this very deceptive world of violators.

There are two things that are heartening and comforting.  First, we will always have the Great Quran with us, original, intact and unchanged always.  Whether or not the majority want to turn to it, the Quran will always remain to be the Sole Criterion and the only recourse for guidance for those who reach out to it.   Secondly, one is responsible for the acts of others.  Even parents, offspring, siblings and spouses are answerable only for themselves.  Regardless of the ignorance and violation of the majority, if we, as a minority are able to perceive and follow correct guidance with the Quran as our Benchmark, we can hope for Allah's reward in the Hereafter, and perhaps also in this world, Insh'Allah.   But the Hereafter is far more important.

Since the Glorious Quran is intact and original .. and will be so till the Day of Judgment .. it will be a witness against those who abandoned it, allowing them to find NO excuses for their negligence or arrogance.

Yes, exactly.  That's because it's inherent of humans to love hearing and telling stories regardless of its contents.  Unauthenticated stories help them to construct rhetoric a lot easier than truth.  It was exhilarating reading this very honest piece.   Also, no wonder truth sounds bitter to the majority.

On a guarded tablet.Very interesting read.  This concept of the majority always being right is leading to a certain confusion in the peoples' minds which stands in need of clarification and adherence.

In politics today the choice of the majority translates into the 'rule' of the land because it's the selection of this majority that results in picking those few who shape the destiny of the community, even though those few handpicked ones often don't reflect the thoughts of the majority.  Neither the quality nor the logical correctness of the majority matters because that isn't considered relevant as per the standards of this concept.  For this reason, the idea of the much talked about democracy is a mixture of benefits and drawbacks.  It's not all 'peaches and cream.'

In regard to Monothistic spiritual wisdom and genuine perceptive intellectualism, it's much the opposite.  This awesome path has always been adorned by the minority, not the majority, because the emphasis here is entirely on the authenticity and quality of values, not the quantum or number of people.   Assalaam Alaikum and peace to all.

Exactly brother TS.  Agree with every word you stated.  The difference is that of quantity and quality.

And here are two verses from the Quran that portray the attitude of such people who blindly follow the majority in matters of Faith and ethics.

"And when it is said unto them: Come unto that which Allah hath revealed and unto the messenger, they say: Enough for us is that wherein we found our fathers. What! Even though their fathers had no knowledge whatsoever, and no guidance ?"  5:104

"If you obeyed most of those on earth they would mislead you far from Allah's way. They follow naught but an opinion, and they do but guess."  6:116

Love these Verses, JazekAllah Khair.

While majority is a show of strength, it's not a guarantee for correctness.

That's a very precise summary of this topic.   Majority has far greater strength of force, but that isn't a promise nor pledge for propriety or decorum.
