November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

Racism is Satanism.  Satan disobeyed Allah by refusing to prostrate before Adam as Allah had commanded him, thinking himself to be better than Adam.

By the way, Satan is referred to as 'Iblees' in the Quran while Christians refer to Iblees as 'Lucifer.'

Among the signs of Allah in the creation of the heavens and the earth, there is also the variations of people regarding their color, race and languages.  The goal is to live in harmony with all diverse communities, and at the same time, not to deviate from Allah's dictates and the values stated in the Noble Quran.

Teachings of Islam give rise to social egalitarianism and abolition of all racist concepts.  The Quran is concerned with only One universal God for all.  The Quran tries to bring about social harmony that we should learn to know and love each other, not despise one another.  Those who are more aware of Allah constantly are the ones who are dearer and closer to Him regardless of their gender or social status.  It goes without saying that worldly status or recognition has nothing to do with a person's relationship with Allah.  An insignificant person of the society who might be poor and considered irrelevant by the people could actually be very dear to Allah because of strong Faith concealed within himself and his innermost qualities pertaining to his conduct.

There's no harm in having different cultural heritages and social traditions provided they are not, in any way, against the commandments and values of the Noble Quran.  Also, we musn't use our cultural heritage to feel superior to others.  This gives way to pride and arrogance in the hearts of humans and Allah does not like boastful behaviour.

The Quran does not put the Arabic language in a more privileged position than others.  The same concept has been reflected in the Prophet's last sermon.  However, as Muslims, we should all love the Arabic language because after all it is the original language of the Noble Quran.  But one should not be stuck on it by excluding other languages as mediums of conveying messages as this would limit the introduction of Islam to other communities.

Although prayers (salaat) should preferably be offered in Arabic, there's no hard & fast rule on this in the Quran.  The best approach would be that when non-Arabic speaking people are learning their prayers, they can begin in their own language by learning the Quranic translations till they are able to memorize a few short Surahs in Arabic.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was in a difficult junction of history.  Behind him was the Age of Ignorance and in front of him to come was the Age of so-called burgeoning civilization.  According to many readers of the Quran, this is probably the reason why the Quran refers to the Prophet and his comtemporary followers as the "Middle Nation."

And here's an inspiring poem concerning the above topic ..

WHEN YOU LOOK AT ME

When you look at me you only see the shell I live within,

So don't judge me by my accent or the color of my skin,

We only differ outwardly in hue or form or line,

So marvel at the beauty of Allah's great design,

For He will only grade us by our Taqwa and Iman,

The noblest in the sight of God is oft despised by man.

I hope all readers take this seriously.  There's honestly no room for any racial discrimination in the Quran, be it on the basis of colour, race or language.  Unfortunately some members of our Ummah are not focused on this issue.  So, it's pointless blaming non-Muslims for racism at this point when we haven't quite finished cleaning our own backyards.  But I don't tar everyone because of a some 'bad apples.'  There are also many brothers and sisters who fully understand the importance of egalitarian values.
