I was told this is an Italian main dish.  It's a very nice dinner for two.  Serve it with your favorite pasta and tossed greens.

2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
2 ounces dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Cut chicken into large pieces and pound flat into thin fillets.   Dip into beaten egg, coat with breadcrumbs.  Place it on a greased baking sheet and bake for 30 mins.  Remove from oven.

Place half of the spaghetti sauce at the base of the baking sheet.  Spread baked chicken pieces over it.  Cover with remaining sauce.  Sprinkle with mozarella and parmesan cheeses on top.  Return to preheated oven and bake for another 20 to 30 mins.

Serve with whole wheat spaghetti and salad.

A real yummy stuff!  The mozarella is the only high calorie ingredient
