November 01, 2023, 03:43:43 pm Ruhi_Rose: Yes .. making lots of dua everyday ..... watching those real life video clips, my face feels wet with tears all the time.  May ALLAH grant the best to these wonderful, brave & steadfast martyrs,  Ameen ya Allah.
November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.
July 29, 2023, 03:02:07 am Zainab_M: Yesterday was Ashura, Muharram 10, 1444 (July 27, 2023).  Read about this very tragic day and details of the world's greatest 7th century revolutionary: WHO WAS HUSSEIN.
June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

The following message has been sent around by Br. Idris Tawfiq at Facebook to his group members.  It's very important so I'm sharing it with everyone in this forum at the 'Announcement' board.

Br. Idris Tawfiq is a British revert who's working hard to promote the religion of Allah Almighty.

Subject: Stop the Slaughter in Palestine

Asalaamu alaykum.

I have been without access to facebook for some days, but thought you might
like to read these few words I made the other day when doing a Live Talk with
readingislam.com. Words come very easy, don't they? But they come from my
heart.

My heart is truly very heavy today. As we sit in the comfort of our armchairs
or in the luxury of a net cafe, with coffee by our side, taking part in this
Live Talk for New Muslims, our brothers and sisters in Palestine are being
slaughtered while we speak.

Scenes of little babies with blood smeared across their faces, or of mothers
distraught with grief, mourning the loss of their sons, is too much to bear.

The Israeli entity claims that this wave of terror is being done "in
defense," to stop roof tiles and windows being broken by the makeshift
rockets being fired from the Gaza Strip.

Surely there is no justification for punishing a whole people. If the ongoing
brutal siege of Gaza was not enough, denying ordinary people the most basic
supplies of food and medicine, this latest atrocity is surely an outrage crying
out to heaven.

While governments and world leaders, from their plush offices, offer words of
condemnation and condolence, the suffering continues. There seems to be no help
from any quarter for the people of Palestine.

So what, as ordinary Muslim men and women, can we do? There are a number of
immediate things we can do, within the law. We are not powerless nor silent in
the face of such brutality.

First, we can write to the embassies of those countries who have a role to
play. What good can this do, you might ask? Well, those who are carrying out
this aggression are not slow to use every diplomatic effort at every turn to
make their voice heard.

Are Muslims to remain silent? Or shall we shower the governments and embassies
around the world with our voices. Those carrying out this aggression number a
few millions in the world. Muslims number nearly one and a half billion.

Another thing we can do is to continue to boycott the goods and services which
support the buying of bullets and tanks for this brutality. It might be cool to
drink this drink or eat that burger or wear those trainers, but by doing so we
are supporting those who are killing our brothers and sisters.

The final thing we can do is to beg Allah Almighty to bring peace and justice
to the land of Palestine. As Muslims, we do not take things into our own hands.
Allah is in control, but He has directed us how to act.

As Muslims we are called to do his Will. We are not powerless, passive players,
waiting to be oppressed. He will reward the goodness and the suffering of
sincere believers and He will punish the wickedness of evildoers in this world.

Even though today our hearts are heavy, we know that Allah is in control of all
things and that He, Almighty, can change any situation. As Muslims we strive
daily to earn His pleasure by the goodness and the faithfulness of our lives.
Allah knows best.

May Allah bless this brother.  he's really so sensitive and conscientious toward the suffering of his fellow brothers and sisters.

I've already signed 2 online petitions in protest to Israel's mad attack on Gaza.  And yes, my family and I have since long clamped our own embargo on buying American products or food items.  Only in times of emergency when there's no other alternative, we may buy something 'made in USA' but that's only once in a while.

We keep praying that the other Arab leaders give up their greed and turn themselves into civilized human beings from the wild monsters that they are and start co-operating with the govt and people of Gaza.  This crisis is just so heartbreaking that one is lost for words while talking about it.

Thanks for this posting sister.

Very touching message by br. Idris Taufiq.

We never eat at any American fast foods nor coffee shops.  Firstly, they don't sell Halal.  Secondly, despite all this hullabaloo about cutting down on transfat, American commerical foods are still very unhealthy and high in calories.  As far as other products are concerned like clothes, cosmetics, shoes, toys etc.  I find American products very sub-standard anyway.  In our home there's hardly anything that says "made in USA."

This idea of br. Taufiq of writing to embassies as protect is a very good one.  But we should be doing it in groups of thousands.  Not just a few.

Thanks for sharing this sister zeynab.  It's indeed worth sharing.
