Friends Until The End

by Stef Knudsen

We used to talk

We used to laugh

We were best of friends

I thought that’s how it would always be

You taught me so much

Told me exactly what to say

I wish it were still the same

But someday I know it will

Maybe not today

But we’ll meet up again

It won’t be long until I see your face

In Heaven that marvelous day

MaashAllah, what a gorgeous poem!  Moving and beautiful.

InshAllah, Allah Willing, we will all meet our loved ones in Jannah.  This is the most fabulous desire which no one can say they don't nurture.

We just need to work a little hard in this world for it .... be regular with our prayers and worship to Allah, and implement the good values of our Faith into our practical lives.

Yes, awesome poem and very well expressed.

I recall, you posted another poem on this board earlier in memory of your late father.  That was best.  Really liked it.

Thanks sister.  Assalaam Alaikum and peace.
