It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

As-Salam Alaykum again dear folks.

Until what time can Tahajjud prayers be offered?   We do know it can only be offered after the obligatory Isha and only after you've woken up from sleep.  But is there a time bracket for that?   So far we don't know, except that it's after waking up from sleep post Isha and finishing Tahajjud approximately half hour prior to Fajr.   Please confirm.   That friend of my husband again created some confusion by sending a email talk that if you're offering Tahajjud, don't offer it too close to Fajr, that it must be done at least an hour before Fajr.

No, no.  Not necessary to finish one hour nor half hour before Fajr.   Tahajjud can be offered right until the time when Fajr begins, and it's still dark until then.  So, night time ends at the earliest start of Fajr.  This also makes it easier as you don't have to awaken twice.   Supposing, at a particular time of the year Fajr it as 4.30 a.m., so you wake up for Tahajjud at 4.00 a.m., perform a quick wudu and offer 4 rakahs as Tahajjud (though you can even offer 2 rakahs) ..... and by the time you finish, it will be Fajr, Alhumdulilah.  Then offer Fajr.

O really?!   I didn't know that.   Yes, it does make it easier.   I must share this information with my husband and kids.  They too didn't know it.

So, if it's Ramadan ... we can eat sahoor until the early glimmer of light appears in the atmosphere, right?   But Fajr begins earlier, am I right?

Well yes, Fajr would start slightly before that (which is dawn), around 15 minutes earlier ... though in our prayer calendars they put it more than an hour earlier, don't know why.  In Ramadan you can eat sahoor just until the time when the sky starts looking a bit bluish, that's shortly followed by the earliest light in the atmosphere.  Then you stop eating, perform wudu (or finish wudu earlier soon after you awaken for sahoor .. that's what I do in Ramadan) and offer Fajr.  Fajr time stays until the bright glow appears along the horizon.  That means sun is about to rise;  that's when Fajr (dawn) ends and morning begins.

Perfect!  got it.    So .. even after darkness is over, one can still offer Fajr, until the orange glow is visible along the horizon?
