Yes certainly.  As I mentioned earlier, I would still advise everyone to continue learning from his public lectures and talks as long as he doesn't say something that's obviously incorrect .... as long as he doesn't mingle the values of his secret personal life with his public lectures in an effort to portray them as acceptable.  And of course he will never have the courage to go that far.   Generally his understanding of Islam is good.   Some of his lectures may falter because after all he is a Hadithist too.  So, our perspective should be to go on following his public talks on Islam, but with discernment, as we would with anyone else's lectures.  Accept whatever he says is compatible with the Quran and dismiss what is incompatible with the Quran.  For the wrongdoings concerning his personal conduct, he will have to answer to Allah Almighty. 

His lecture, as you and sister Zeynab defined in this thread, on the inheritance rights of women, is very logical.   He is trying to convey a very rational point which I'm sure in acceptable in the Sight of Allah.  The inheritance laws as Allah has stated in the Noble Quran are the standard laws for families with normal circumstances, where everyone performs their duties and knows their place .. that is, the adult male siblings are properly & fairly shouldering their responsibilities towards their female siblings, bearing the expenses of all their necessities of life including the expenses of their education and marriage without any of those unjustifiable domineering coercions.  But in cases where the male siblings are self-centered, callous and tyrannical, leading their own lives - not caring for their sisters and mothers but jumping in like vultures to grab the lion's share when it's time to distribute the 'candies,' - then the inheritance has to be done in accordance with Quranic ethical values to make sure that the girls of the family get enough to survive as well as live decently, otherwise they will likely not be supported fairly by their selfish and uncaring brothers and could face severe financial distress and misery  .. ....  particularly those female siblings who are permanently single or those who marry late or are divorced / widowed and have to return to their family for support.
