It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

 BismEm

 salamem

As Zeynab has rightly mentioned in one of her sticky posts on this board that not all Hadeeth narrations merit critisism, and there are several nice ones as well, here's a fine example of that.

Shamaa-il Tirmidhi.
Chapter 45. Narrations Of The Bed Of Sayyidina Rasulullah.

Chapter 045, Hadith Number 001 (311).
--------------------------------------

'Aayeshah Radiyallahu 'Anha reports that the bed on which Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam slept was made of leather, in which was filled coir of the palm tree.

Commentary

The bed Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam used, was at times the one made of leather as stated in the above hadith, or at times was one that was made of canvas, as will be mentioned in the following hadith. At times it was only a mat made of palm leaves. This subject has been narrated in many ahaadith that when the Sahaabah Radiyallahu 'Anhum asked the permission to make a soft bed, Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam used to reply: 'What do I have in common with worldly comforts. My example is that of a traveller who after walking, stops under the shadow of a tree for a while to rest, and after sitting a while continues on his way'. Sayyiditina 'Aayeshah Radiyallahu 'Anha says: 'Once a woman from the Ansaar came and saw that an 'abaa (cloak) was spread on the bed of Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam.

She returned home and made a bed in which she filled wool, and sent it to me for Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam. When Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam returned and saw the bed, he inquired, 'What is this?' I replied: 'A certain woman from the Ansaar came and after seeing the bed of Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam she made and sent this bed'. Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam said; 'Return it'. It looked good to me, and I did not feel like sending it back.

Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam insisted that I send it back, and said: 'I swear an oath if I wish Allah Ta'aala will line up mountains of gold and silver for me'. On this saying of Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam I returned the bed.

Sayyidina 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud Radiyallahu 'Anhu says: 'I once came to Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam. He was resting on a mat made of palm leaves, the marks of which could be seen on the mubaarak body of Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam. After seeing this state I began to cry.

Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam asked: 'What is the matter, why are you crying?' I replied: 'O Messenger of Allah, these Qaysars and Kisras sleep on beds of silk and velvet, and you on this palm mat'.

Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam said.' 'It is not a thing to cry about. For them is the world and for us the hereafter'.

Very sweet indeed.  as we've just read in the post "Do you know him" in Islamic Issues board, this Hadeeth is a perfect reflection of the Prophet's outstanding nature.  Alhamdulilah, Alhamdulilah.

Yes .. this is a very pretty piece.  It's absolutely true.  Numerous people have expressed their surprise on the Prophet's (pbuh) incredible simplicity .. I mean, his lifestyle was no different as a head of the state compared to the way it was when he was living in Makkah before starting his (pbuh) mission.  Alhamdulilah.  It's really amazing how worldly charms totally failed to move the Prophet of Islam.

I recall first reading this Hadeeth as a child Smiley  It is really one of the very nice ones.

wsalam    and thanks persian:)   right, this is a very good one.  it's totally compatible with the beloved Prophet's temperament and it's completely in line with the injuctions of the Glorious Quraan.  Yes, I know, there are many other similar nice ones too.  I really have nothing against these good Hadeeth narrations.  They compliment the Quraan and produce a conducive environment for ethical growth.  And efforts for teaching good deeds are always like by Allah.  Besides, of course, Hadeeth followers can post any Hadeeth they please.  Just as those who desire to take Sunnah from the Glorious Quraan have their entitlement of free speech, so do those who desire to take the Sunnah from Hadeeth in addition to the Quraan.  It's this diversity that creates healthy discussions and everyone gets a chance to enhance and broaden their views, and become tolerant to one another.  May Allah help us to grow humble, and appreciative of good things, ameen.
