It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

Salams dear all.  Coming to this thread after pretty long, over a decade.  And Alhumdulilah that we've been able to run this forum for that long.  All praise be to Allah only.   Ameen.

Would appreciate your feedback on a talk I had with an elderly sister-friend.

"Indeed, those who have believed then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, and then increased in disbelief - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a way."  4:137 Surah Nissa.

Can the above Verse be confirmed as an assertion that those who slip back to disbelief after belief will face greater punishment in the Hereafter compared to those who never believed at all?

We know an elderly sister, she often comes to our Zoom meetings.  She's a very nice sister, very particular of practicing Halal and avoiding Haram.  She asked me on a one-on-one conversation that her son used to be a practicing Muslim with a good understanding of the Noble Quran.  Then gradually, after facing the challenges of life, he failed his tests and trials, and slumped into secularism.  She says he's been secular for some years and now as a man in his 40s he's quite firmly into secular atheism.    She tried a lot to bring him back to the right path by talking to him, sending him Quranic Verses and very nice commentaries on the Quran and some good lectures of learned Muslim scholars.  But to no avail.   He just won't be moved nor will he ponder.  She's very worried.   She fears that if his soul passes away in such a condition, he won't qualify for forgiveness and neither she nor her late husband will be able to meet him in the Hereafter.  I can so well understand her grief.  But I told her it's a helpless situation, not her fault, and there's nothing she can do other than pray to Allah Almighty to awaken him.   Allah guides those who make themselves worthy of His guidance.  That man seems to be worth nothing.   Such a sad story, isn't it?
