It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

Okay ...... so now an elderly sister at our community centre claims the frequent bad odor of farts makes it unclean enough to invalidate wudu   Grin    I wanted to ask her how many times she and her husband have farted after a wudu and pretended they didn't know it was a fart to justify performing an unnecessary second wudu.

LaaughingAway    LMFAO!   You should have really asked her.  Many people actually do that ..... fart soon after the wudu and pretend it wasn't a fart, probably a burp from the mouth attributed to the ass or probably the "scent" Abu Huraira talked about.

These idiots just don't wanna think rationally, that's the only problem and a big one.   Smelly farts have NOTHING to do with physical hygiene nor environmental pollution.   Professionally I'm a former dietician, not a doctor.  But I would know so much at least that bad smell in flatulence is typically because of food intolerance, usually  lactose and gluten intolerance.  In such a condition the body's inability to break down lactose or gluten causes build up of foul smelling gas which of course has be to released through the ass .... where else?   O yes, it can also be released through the mouth in the form of a burp which often leaves a bad taste on the tongue for a while, but Hadithists have proven incapable of thinking like civilized human beings.

Then again, if one is eating too much high fiber foods like lentils, chickpeas, cabbage, broccoli, garlic etc. ........ your farts aren't gonna smell like rose petals but they're gonna be benign and won't interfere with your wudu.     Also, folks who are constipated fart smelly stuff .... probably because the exiting fart gets affected by the unmoved bowels.  For that reason, many people experience real wicked farts before shitting, and farts released after the poop are odorless.  But either way, it has no bearing on hygiene nor is there any contamination    .....   excuse meo for crude language  Lips Sealed

heehe heeee hee!  Grin Grin     Sounds spot on sister Heba.  I will jot down the points and InshAllah, really show her.   The discussion went on for 15 minutes in our last half session and had to be finished cause it was time to go home.  But I did wrap up saying she was wrong which I can prove.    Many thanks sister Heba.

On passing wind, our jurists seem to have become a bit lenient, just a teeny weeny bit  😅   They now say if the person has medical problems and can't stop gas then they can let it out during, after or before offering salat .. wudu won't be invalidated.  But it's only a privilege for those with medical issues.  If you're normal and you fart after finishing your salat, then you will be required to perform a fresh wudu for your next salat even if you're otherwise clean and indoors.  We know that no normal person would pass gas during prayers just for the heck of it.  Only someone with acute health problems would.  The point is and that's what this thread is about, regardless of health, passing wind doesn't spoil the wudu.  That's why Allah Almighty never said anything about it in the Noble Quran.  E.g. you offer your Asr salat at 6.45 p.m., then sit down to watch tv or browse the internet. Less than 2 hours later at 8.25 p.m. you go to offer your Maghrib salat.  Your wudu is perfectly maintained except that you only farted once or a few times .. and you don't have a medical issue.  According to Quranic Rules we can assume we're fine.  No need for a wudu.  If you want you can do a taiamum but that too is optional in my opinion.  This wudu will only break if something happens that conform with the conditions for invalidating wudu stated in the Quran.

Okay, so yesterday in our virtual meeting some elderly sisters and brothers with digestive problems said it's impossible to hold fart from the time they finish wudu and start their salah.  First the moronic ustada said "you will have to try to control it."  I went all out in defiance supporting the elderly ones.  Then several others joined me in support of them.   Everyone was pretty enthusiastic.  Ustada got a bit rattled.  She 'edited' her views quickly saying "alright, just do your wudu and then until you finish your salah even if you pass wind it's okay but only if you are elderly with health issues." 😅   Now common .. such idiots pretend to be teachers.  The elderly sisters and brothers were elated ... me and my friends were inundated with private messages of thanks from the poor oldies.   I wanted to tell the ustada that we, as Quran alone followers, don't require to hold gas ever unless we want to be courteous in public .. which is fine and everyone does.

Well done Sis, going all in defiance.  Tell the shitty ustada to stop making a clown of herself talking rubbish.  Bullying poor elderly folks with a fart embargo based on hadith forgeries.   Some people have no fear of Allah Almighty in their hearts and minds.

😄

You took the right step Sister Ruhi.    And now think of it.   Eventually the ustada had to retract her assertion with no further arguments.  That's because anything you follow that is not supported by the Noble Quran falls apart when challenged logically.
