Ah!  I'm glad u have put this up, sister CAt.  I put this link at the blog too.  It's really informative.  yeah, there are frequent typing errors, but that's irrelevant.  The contents are very revealing.  InshAllah, i'll post some other links by this author too.  If u can, please do the same.

How are they called scholars from some when they have blatant, obscure and obscene hadiths??

That's like, enrolling in a math class for college, opening the textbook made by the professor and finding errors. Is that the professor you wanna learn from?? Would you still call him professor??! Either he is a stupid professor or never was one from the beginning...

Hadith followers indirectly just say they were scholars, just not all that intelligent. I just say they weren't scholars at all.

Let's imagine this is a tutor program for the situation. A dumbwit professor making his own math book is too far out of reality LOL passing all those years of not being called out on his knowledge. By doing that, you can then look at it like this- It's a shame those who claimed to be scholars in Islam actually got away with it? Wow, crazy...

The only reason they call such folks "scholars" is blind traditionalism.  That's why Allah tells us to have only His Final Message as our sole Criterion.  And that's the reason why Allah tells us in His Final Message not to follow something of which we have no knowledge and emphasizes so greatly upon investigation before belief .. instructing us to think, reflect and contemplate upon this world and the entire universe.  The pagan Arabs ruined their souls by blindly following the traditions of their ancestors.  The mainstream Muslims today are ruining their souls the same way by blindly following phoneys named  "scholars."   Trying to tell them of their folly only increases their stubbornness as it did in the case of the pagan Arabs when the Prophet (pbuh) was conveying the Message of Allah to them.    But ah!  The Day of Judgment !!  None can change nor postpone it .. a Day when both the misleaders and the misled will be paid their dues in full.
