A fantastic snack for an evening coffee-time break.  Remember to keep it as a Ramadan savoury snack for Iftar when you feel you need a change from the usual pakoras and samosas.  Also perfect for breakfast or lunch, or simply as a quick snack when you are hungry but too busy to cook.  These cheese puffs can be frozen, re-heated and enjoyed at your convenience!





Ingredients

1 cup flour
3/4 cup grated cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg beaten into 3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp oil
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of Cayenne Pepper


Method

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Place spoonfuls into greased pattie tins.
3. Bake at 240C for approx 10 minutes.
