I looked at your link.  I think you will find the salaah article on detailedquran website is very thorough and filled with logic and detail.

Introduction: -

I am a student of the Qur'an, history, science, society etc.  I have concluded that the Qur'an is the only viable guidance for mankind and try to live my life by it.

I found this forum via your blog.  I do not recall how I found your blog.

I appreciate your response, however do kindly post a separate intro at the Introduction board.

I also thank you for mentioning your site.  However,  we do not allow propagating other websites on any of our boards.  If you want to promote your website, you are welcomed to post its link in our Links section. 

Certain members in the past have grossly misunderstood our site, thinking it to be a ususal "modernist" spot like Free Minds etc.  That's not correct at all.  Hence, those who wish to be a regular or periodical contributor to MV, first please check our introduction at About us.  along with our Forum Rules which are pretty concise and straight.  Frankly, from past experiences, I've been forced to become somewhat picky concerning the substance of member posts as MV has been trashed by religious/spiritual ideas NOT upheld by us. 

Further for your info .. I am a widely self educated writer/researcher of the Glorious Quran with a Masters on Islamic History.  However, I do NOT consider academic diplomas / degrees as a necessity for being well perceived on Quranic issues.  Quran is understood best by one who approaches it with an unmotivated intent, humility and devotion toward Allah Almighty.   Thus, to rightly follow the Quran one cannot simply depend upon earthly educational skills, but after a point, one needs the help & guidance of Allah (The Highest) to grasp His guidance through His final Message.  That's when clarity of the Quranic contents emerges into one's mind.  Final interpretation of all Quranic verses is upto Allah.  We can only go as far as our perception takes us, based on our selfless/sincere approach.

I dislike the movement of those who follow the Qur'an in general.  It is full of illogic, hedonism and speculation.  They have taken the dislodging of hadith as a central text to 'modernise' Islam, by that they mean its liberalisation.

I follow no one.  I use what I have of knowledge, references and logic to understand the Qur'an and follow it.

Truly guidance and understanding are the gifts of Allah, but they are gifts which we must work for.

Regarding the site, it is linked for information only as it is not well known, and I will add it to the Links section.  I think you will find it logical and true to the spirit of Islam, to the guidance of the Qur'an.  And not stinking of the liberalism of the likes of Free Minds.  If you read it, you will see.
