Brother PT, I think you'll be the best one to answer this question.  We know that Fatima Zahra was the principle wife of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib.  Did he have other wives apart from her?

As long as Fatima lived, she was his only wife.  After her death (Fatima died quite young, I think while in her early 40s) he did remarry several times.  Imam Ali had 8 wives altogether after Fatima.  But of course, at a time he had not more than 4.  However, let's not forget, the information of his other 8 wives after Fatima Zahra come from Hadith and similar stories which as we know are no more reliable than the rampage on the pages of biblical history.  So, I would prefer to say that Fatima Zahra was his only confirmed wife based on all sources of reliable history books.  Regarding others, only Allah knows best.  I'm not saying that Imam Ali didn't re-marry after Fatima's death.  But I wouldn't dwell much on the details available.
