It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

You may have heard lots of people asking what's the difference between doing good deeds based on one's secular conscience and doing good deeds based on spiritual conscience for the sake of Allah only?

There are many folks who find no difference between the two.  The misperception of certain others are still more.  They think that doing good based on secular human conscience is better because according to their fallacious thoughts it appears more selfless in their view.  The truth is much the opposite, if they but knew.

First of all, the desire for doing good deeds generating from the pit of our hearts containing genuine love of Allah and the understanding of Him and His Message is the type of goodness of human nature that's far more constant, stable and reliable compared to goodness that arises from the 'conscience' of a God-less person.  The 'conscience' of such a person is more frail because it has no superior binding force as a support.  As a result, it can vary irregularly or waver, depending on the circumstances or individual mood-swings.  It can get carried away more easily into a different direction by being lured or brainwashed by human desires or ideas.  It can also contain large elements of selfishness, that is, performing good deeds for worldly incentives such as fame or financial gain.  The reason for such blunders being that a secular conscience which does not carry the thought & love of Allah is not supported nor helped by Allah either.  Such persons have to depend entirely on themselves to keep their conscience on track.  Thus, it always becomes a lot harder for them acquire their goal without slipping or falling at some point.

We may come across people who claim to have a spiritual conscience and yet they slip.  The reason is that many folks, even after knowing the importance of permanently retaining the thought of Allah, are unable to do so.  There are people who claim to profess Faith with their tongues but Faith has not yet entered their hearts.  Thus, while going through the tests of life, certain worldly attractions get the better of them and while they may claim they are performing their good deeds for the love of Allah, deep down in their hearts the reasons might be very different.

It might often be difficult or impossible for humans to discern the intentions of each other, whether or not one performs a good deed selflessly for the sake of Allah or selfishly for the sake of this world.  But Allah Almighty is well aware of those who harbor a pure conscience containing His love only and those with a fragile, selfish or wandering conscience.

"(Because) they perform the vow and fear a day whereof the evil is wide-spreading,  And feed with food the needy, the orphan and the prisoner, for love of Him,  (Saying): We feed you, for the sake of Allah only. We wish for no reward nor thanks from you;"  (76:7-9)

Thanks sis.  Both these topics, the one above and the one with the link, are really useful ones to understand.  This issue is much in demand to be learned because so many folks, including many so-called Muslims are unable to grasp it.

A secularist generally thinks that doing good for the sake of Allah is similarly motivated as doing good for the sake of earthly incentives.  What they are unable to understand is that looking upon the reward of the Hereafter as an incentive is a completely different matter.  A person who hopes for a reward from Allah on the Day of Judgment and thus works hard in this world, is a person who has understood the ultimate of life through his belief in Allah.  This accurate perception of his has a positive impact on his entire spiritual, ethical, moral and practical personality.  One of its very important functions is to open up one's heart by shedding off the characteristic of selfishness.  Whereas, worldly incentives that claim to boost one's 'conscience' contribute little or nothing toward far-sightedness and a broader perception beyond the occurences & happenings within this planet only.
