What is true religion? ( Al- Baiyyinah)

"And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion."  (98:5,  Al- Baiyyinah)

The above Verse of the Glorious Quran is clear evidence that "true religion" is a complete code of life.  True relgion means worshipping Allah only.  On the basis of our worship of Allah only, we learn to serve Him (alone) in all walks of life by elevating our conduct (charity to the needy being a very important aspect as elucidated in the above verse) and thus hold our character upright.  Hence, verse 98:5, like many other verses of the Glorious Quran, highlights that 'religion' is the combination of worship to Allah and doing righteious deeds in practical life with the thought of Allah.  Thus, religion CANNOT be separated from life.  That would make no sense.
