It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

BismAllah ..

A couple of days ago a relative of mine asked a question.  I would like to share that query and it's answer here for the benefit of our readers.

The question was, I quote:
"God knows what is in front of us and behind us. He is more familiar with us and our traits, our responses than we ourselves are.  When he tests us He already knows how we will react. So why is it said in some suras (e.g.sura Sajda) that He tests us to see which of us are patient and good in times of adversity?  He already knows.  Please throw some light on this."

ANSWER:
Yes, that's right.  God Almighty knows our reactions to future events.  Yet, the reason he tests us is to prove the truth about ourselves to us, not to Him.   He already knows everything.  He makes us go through tests and in the process our reactions are recorded, just as all our deeds are recorded.  Thus, we become a witness of our own acts on the Day of Judgment.  Otherwise, on the Day of Resurrection, lots of people would feel that they are being questioned or punished for something they never did.  Or, it could be the other way round - being rewarded for a worthy act one didn't practically do.   For the same reason, Allah also says in the Quran that He sent His Final Message (The Noble Quran) to the Arabs, otherwise if He took them to task for their ignorance, they would make excuses on the Last Day claiming that warners (or Prophets) came to folks before them, but not to them.  But now, the Noble Quran being in the midst of generations starting from the 7th century till the end and protected by Allah from being changed, none of us can claim we weren't warned nor can we make excuses that we were not shown the right path.  The Quran will be a witness against those who rejected or ignored it on the Day of Judgment.

JAK Sister

Some people have the wrong understanding that since Allah knows what we will be doing then what is the purpose of being tested.

The fact is that Allah has given us a choice and HE knows what choices we have and which one will we choose but He does not make us choose, its we who choose.

We through our very restricted and limited thinking can never gauge the Absolute power of Allah who knows everything including which of us will go to heaven or hell. One must learn the attributes of Allah to get a sample of his unmatched greatness in every sense.

[Noor 24:35] Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth; the example of His light is like a niche in which is a lamp; the lamp is in a glass; the glass is as if it were a star shining like a pearl, kindled by the blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west – it is close that the oil itself get ablaze although the fire does not touch it; light upon light; Allah guides towards His light whomever He wills; and Allah illustrates examples for mankind; and Allah knows everything.

The keys of the Unseen are in His possession. No one knows them but Him. He knows everything in the land and sea. No leaf falls without His knowing it. There is no seed in the darkness of the earth, and nothing moist or dry which is not in a Clear Book. (Surat al-An'am: 59)

Do they not know that Allah knows their secrets and their private talk, and that Allah is the Knower of all unseen things? (Surat at-Tawba: 78)

Yes exactly.  There are many Muslims who don't understand this aspect.  They ask that if everything is decided by Allah, then why does He punish people for their wrongdoings?  The truth is that Allah has given humans the ability to choose their path of conduct.  Thus, His acceptance or rejection of our deeds is based on the extent of our efforts to grasp the right path and follow it.  There are situations when Allah may decide to intervene to bring certain changes into one's life, the reasons for which are only known to Him and He might disclose those reasons to us in the Hereafter, if He wills.  But generally and according to His standard laws, He has provided humans with a conscience and whether or not we humans make efforts to enhance our conscience is upto us.  That's the foundation of our earthly tests.  To clear another misunderstanding, the reason why Allah generally does not intervene is not because He cannot, but it's because He chooses not to.

I agree sister Zeynab.  The reason for earthly tests is for us to prove the truth of our reactions to ourselves.  Though all our actions are being recorded every minute, every second, those who are ignorant, unthinking or disbelieving are not aware of this.  They often presume that not all details of their conduct and secret thoughts are known to Allah.  On the Day of Judgment many of them might be forgetful of themselvs and hence take matters for granted by thinking themselves to be more innocent than what they actually are.  But they will be confronted with their book in which they will find all of their deeds and thoughts noted (including their reactions to all tests, trials, tribulations and challenges of earthly life) as a proof of what they did.  With this solid evidence before them, they will be dumbstruck and unable to refute the truth.

Here is one of the several beautiful verses which elucidates this fact:

"On the Day when every soul will find itself confronted with all that it hath done of good and all that it hath done of evil (every soul) will long that there might be a mighty space of distance between it and that (evil). Allah biddeth you beware of Him. And Allah is Full of Pity for (His) bondmen."  (3:30) Surah Al-Imraan.

May Allah, The Exalted, grant plenty of guidance to all of us.  The Day of Judgment will indeed be a very hard Day for the rejecters of Faith.

Two more lovely verses that explain this topic.

"And every man's augury have We fastened to his own neck, and We shall bring forth for him on the Day of Resurrection a book which he will find wide open.

(And it will be said unto him): Read thy Book. Thy soul sufficeth as reckoner against thee this day."  (17:13-14)  Surah Bani Israel
