It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

BismEm

As-salaam Alaikum everyone.

I had been meaning to pen this post since quite long but just couldn't find the time.  After the recent Quranic misinterpretations by an apologist brother who attempted to portray Islam as a Faith without a voice with incorrect ideas of subservience from extra-Quranic sources, I thought it's necessary to put up my long awaited post right away.  I would like to state the fact to our readers that Islam is NOT a faith without a voice.  That's because the Most Noble Quran has given us a voice - the voice of justice and the right balance.  Subhan'Allah.

To begin with, let there be no doubt that the Noble Quran encourages perseverence and tolerance to the maximum as first priority in interactions with our fellow human beings.  Allah has given us guidelines in the Quran to be patient in various situations.

At the same time, the Quran also gives us guidelines of alternatives, in case perseverence doesn't help us to succeed.  What if someone takes advantage of our tolerance and makes matters even harder for us?  Such incidents happen every so often.  For this reason, the Quran allows believers to fight in self-defense in the event of oppression.  Similarly, the Quran also permits us to respond or retaliate to aggressive, provocative or pre-emptive attacks by the enemy with evil designs.

Hence, Allah has given us the freedom to decide when we need to draw a line on tolerance and begin to defend ourselves in the same way as we are being threatened or attacked.  Allah asserts "And there is life for you in retaliation, O men of understanding, that ye may ward off (evil)." 2:179.    Alhumdulilah.  This is what one would call a system with a perfectly balanced and fair approach that gives a chance to peace and also prevents the concept of peace from being hijacked, violated or bullied by miscreants and arrogant bullies.

There are several other verses in the Noble Quran that grant us permission to fight a defensive war when necessary, but not to initiate a fight and never to start a pre-emptive war or hostility.

Here are some more verses on the permission granted to believers to defend themselves.  Verses 2:190-194 of Surah Al-Baqrah in sequence, please note carefully how Allah keeps reminding us of our entitlement to defend ourselves and at the same time warning us not to begin hostilities.  You will observe, that these are all acts of self-defense if attacked first by the enemy.  These are NOT acts of aggression.

"Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loves not, aggressors

And slay them wherever you find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers

But if they desist, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful

And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers

The forbidden month for the forbidden month, and forbidden things in retaliation. And one who attacks you, attack him like manner as he attacked you. Observe your duty to Allah, and know that Allah is with those who ward off "

With the culture of Muslims immigrating to the West (viz. North America, Europe & Australia) getting so common, there are many of them who find it a necessity in their daily lives (for themselves and their families) to mantain warm and diplomatic terms with the Westerners in the countries they are living in.  That by itself might be okay.  However, several of these Muslims, to prove their bonafide, end up becoming apologists and renegades of their Faith.  They introduce new Ahadith and fatwas to alter the ideology as asserted by Allah Almighty in the Quran.  Their goal is to portray Islam as a religion without a voice.  This is done by picking only the verses on patience and perseverence and elaborating them with extra-Quranic interpretations of peace acquired from the highly controversial institution of Hadith and fatwas.  In the process, they reject the Quranic entitlement given to us to defend ourselves against enemy attack.  Many of these Muslims are imams in the West and also in various Muslim countries ruled by US-puppet rulers.  Their job is to appease their superiors and acquaintances by changing the Quranic ideology of Islam into total docility.  Such Muslims are often very popular in the West and among their puppet rulers.  Thus, both sides end up being happy, but both sides forget the enormous violation they are guilty of by altering the laws of Allah for self-benefits.

Islam is indeed a religion of peace.  But calling it only a "religion of peace" would be  rude and humiliating.  That's because Islam is a religion of peace and much more.  Its a religion of life and after life.  It is the ultimate.  It's a religion of Monotheism, it's a religion of kindness and forgivness.  It's a religion of justice and rights, a religion of truce and self-defense if the enemy throws that truce back onto our faces.  Simply labelling it a "religion of peace" amounts to limiting the extensive field of the Quran.  Subsequently, such an approach results in selective study of the Quran by excluding many commandments and guidelines to suit one's earthly purposes.

In this regard,  I quote Sister Zeynab in her post,
Islam - how would you define it
, in which you will find the most beautiful, accurate and honest interpretation of Islam in concise terms.

"Recognizing and defining Islam as a religion of peace is primarily correct as it strongly prefers peace over violence.  But to label it only as a  "religion of peace" is insufficient.  Islam is a religion of peace and a lot more.  It is a RELIGION OF LIFE.  It's a source of right guidance and a balance for all facets of life.  Referring to Islam as virtually nothing beyond a "religion of peace" amounts to limiting it, reducing it to a very defensive mould and constantly putting it on trial.  It damages the unique and infinite beauty of this Faith.  Unfortunately there are societies that are eager to change Islam to suit their own interests by taking away its comprehensive mould and lessening it into something without a voice.  Of course, that's unacceptable.   Life is practical and 'turning the other cheek' unconditionally is seldom the right option.  Even those who preach it never practice the same.  Surely that's been observed more often than not.  Islam is not a decorative philosophy of phrases for beautifying literature and speech.  Islam is not any 'philosophy' at all.  Rather, it is the most significant reality establishing the truth of Monotheism and accordingly providing the cornerstone of life.  Islam is meant to be lived, and thus, for a believer there's no such ideology as separating Faith from life.  The Glorious Quran deals with the diversity of life realistically. It is practical, complete, permanent and nothing from it can be excluded nor added.  It encourages the concepts of achieving peace, contentment and cordiality through civilized interactions based on justice and an atmosphere of mutual give & take, both within its community and outside of it.   To grasp the goal of Islam, it's hugely important to prioritize all its values with the right balance, without which the unsurpassable charm of this great Faith will be ignored."

Thank you sister Heba.  Beautiful one, and a much needed one too.  Our clerics, most of whom are pretty firebrand with us, turn into meek apologists before their puppet rulers and the imperialists.  They love to avoid this topic.  But I'm proud of it because it upholds JUSTICE to the fullest.  Upholding justice automatically means spreading peace.  These stupid idiots, the imams and their disciples, must know that peace doesn't come by rhetorics, lies and trying to change the laws of the Noble Quran by using the villainy of Hadith.  Peace comes from truth and justice as elucidated in the heart of the Glorious Quraan.  Thanks again, sis.   As-salaam alaikum.  Allah bless.

Walaikum salam, thanks a lot sis.  Yes, this is a very important topic to explain the Noble Quran and promote justice.  It's true our imams do conceal it all the time to appease their bosses.  Every word, every verse of the Quran spells beauty for beautifying life and after life.  I so much agree, the deep deviations of the mainstream Muslim community prevent it to understand that truth comes from every verse of the Quran, not from the changes they introduce through extra-Quranic sources.

JazekAllah Khairan my dear sisters.  This thread is such breath of fresh air after all those twists & turns our ulemas and their followers bring about which are always of 2 extremes - either being timid apologists with their tails in between their legs or resorting to complete aggression.  Both are anti-Quranic.  This article represents the most perfect perspective, completely within the realm of the Glorious Quran.

Thanks again.   As-salam alaykom and God bless.
