What's the point of writing such hadith ?

It makes me wonder, why do the imams and their followers write such ahadith?  What do they get out of it?  Why do they like to make light of the Prophet (pbuh)?  Authenticity or unauthenticity is not the issue here.  The term 'hadith' denotes writings that provide useful ethical advise and lessons.  If the Prophet (pbuh) or anyone else made a mistake while putting on their cloak or coat or any clothing, so what?  The only reason I can surmise is that these hadith writers who didn't like the Prophet (pbuh), just as some deviant ones don't even today, were trying to vent their sarcasm thru such writings.  Allah is sufficient to deal with them, when the time comes!

These folks are just trouble makers.  There are many such totally unnecessary ones.  They've all been penned with different motives by different people.  Bukhari collection could even be having lots of stuff by other unknown people, not to mention, many of those penned by bukhari himself are very inappropriate too.  And most of them had little or no respect for the Prophet (pbuh).
