Quran must be read with reflection and contemplation (Surah Al-Imraan)

Brief reflections on the Noble Quran


"Lo! In the creation of the heavens and the earth and (in) the difference of night and day are tokens (of His Sovereignty) for men of understanding, Such as remember Allah, standing, sitting, and reclining, and consider the creation of the heavens and the earth, (and say): Our Lord! Thou createdst not this in vain. Glory be to Thee! Preserve us from the doom of Fire."  (Verse 3:190-191)  Surah Al-Imraan
 

The above verses are surely self-explanatory.  The beautiful elucidation clearly indicates that Allah does not expect blind faith from His slaves.  As we read the Quran, Allah wants us to think and ponder on His words with patience and realism.  This will enable us to remember Allah at all times in our lives.  And this isn't "blind faith," but it's Faith and belief in Allah on the basis of reason, logic and thoughts.  This is called the true guidance and its only source is the Noble Quran.

May Allah, The Almighty, grant this privilege to all those who strive for it.
