It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

To be a Quran-only follower means to follow the authentic traditional Islam adhered to by our Prophet (SAAW), minus all later-time annexations in the form of Hadith, fatwas etc. not included in the Quran nor warranted by the Quran.

By the Grace of Allah, there are folks who are waking up to this truth and coming to the path of the Quran-alone, putting aside all man-made stories and ideologies.  Many of them are also inviting others to this path.  May Allah Almighty reward their efforts and grant them success.

Much to our pleasure, the Quranic lectures of our Quran-only brothers and sisters speak extensively on various Quranic topics.  How much of their talks interpret the Quran correctly or otherwise is another matter which I will not discuss now.  However, I repeat, may Allah bless their efforts.

Unfortunately there is a problem which is constantly causing a setback to the hard work of many of our Quran-alone speakers.  The problem sprouts from their own mindsets.  Majority of them seem too infatuated by the notion of attaining a 'celebrity status' within their small or large groups of fans instead of winning the admiration of Allah Almighty.  While speaking directly on Quranic issues, our enlightened speakers hesitate to forthrightly expose those aspects within the Muslim spiritual world that distract believers from the Glorious Quran.  These aspects and issues are the widespread corruption infused by the Hadith literature and fatwas galore!  Thus, the efforts of our insightful speakers are left incomplete because of their wariness and evasion to directly highlight these issues and the necessity of their exclusion.  Reason?  The uneasiness caused by the possibility of losing their audience.

Alongside Quran followers, the Quranic lectures are also attended by many Hadith followers or 'quasi' Hadithers who have little or no idea of the speakers' stance toward Hadith.  Hence, they take it for granted (more or less) that these speakers accept Hadith as a source of law like the mainstream "scholars."   These attendees appreciate the Quranic lectures they hear.   Then, when they prepare comments or lectures of their own and in their own words - written or vocal - they quote the contents of these Quranic lectures and gradually spice them up with the stories and 'chinese whispers' of the Ahadith / fatwas which is a customary practice of the mainstream, thus once again contaminating the purity of the Quran and wasting the efforts of our Quran-only speakers.  This brings everyone back to square one.

The fault here lies squarely on our orators.  They intelligently uphold the Truth but cowardly conceal the evil forces that are hellbent upon hurting the Truth.

Just think of it this way.  After beginning to receive the Divine Message, the Prophet (SAAW) invited the Makkans to submit to Allah Almighty alone, which means, the Quran alone.  This was Allah's command.  Allah did NOT tell the Prophet in the Quran to nurture the sentiments of the idolaters and merge pagan values with Allah's Commandments.  NO question about that.

Unlike the wisdom and courage of our Prophet (SAAW), our present Quran-alone speakers aka "scholars" are working with a HIDDEN AGENDA.  While their mission is to promote the Quran, their strategy is to observe silence towards the enemy of the Quran.   May Allah (The Highest) grant them greater fortitude and a desire for a 'celebrity status' in the Hereafter rather than this fleeting earthly life.

Salaam,

Surah 72:1-3 come to mind.

When speaking to Muslims on this issue, there is certainly the satanic temptation to cloak one's position, cloak oneself.  However, one must realise that the task in Dunya is to present the truth in the best way, without any compromise.

Falsehood must be attacked and destroyed with the truth.  Thus, one cannot call to the Qur'an alone without attacking the Hadith and the culture built around it.

The point is, the ends do not justify the means.  So hiding some truth to try to convince people is not acceptable, it is rather a very Jewish approach.

I end with the recollection of Surah 103.

Salaam

Right sister.  I too have observed exactly this with many who call themselves "Quran alone followers."  In fact one former colleague of ours in this board was much like that.  You have highlighted a very essential point that many Hadith followers who attend the lectures of Quran followers have no idea of the stance of their lecturers on Hadith.  Separating the Quran from the Hadith during lectures is also done by some Hadith following lecturers, for example, Harun Yahya.  I've found several who claim to be Quran alone followers run after those of Harun Yahya's lectures in which he discusses only the Quran and these supposed Quran alone followers also go crazy about Harun Yahya, totally forgetting the other side of him which is all praise for Hadith.  Some such people say that they listen to his lectures only for the purpose of getting information of the Quran and they don't care about his Hadith lectures.  The point here is that these supposed Quran alone followers iconize Harun Yahya by liking his Quran lectures, but doesn't that icon get tarnished with contradiction by Yahya's love for the Hadith which is just as strong?   Since Yahya isn't my piece of cake, I don't listen to too many of his lectures.  But since he is a Hadither, it seems pretty impossible that some of his Quran interpretations won't be influenced by Hadith.

yes, this method is applied by many speakers.  They think that avoiding all mention of Hadith is enough to make people forget about Hadith.  They either underestimate the current impact of Hadith on unthinking minds or they are afraid of critisizm and losing their popularity, as sister mentioned.

“Truth always rests with the minority, and the minority is always stronger than the majority, because the minority is generally formed by those who really have an opinion, while the strength of a majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion — and who, therefore, in the next instant (when it is evident that the minority is the stronger) assume its opinion… while truth again reverts to a new minority.”

Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855)
