Many thanks for this very nice presentation.  today I watched Surah Al-Imran.  for lack of time, I couldn't go further.  but tomorrow, InshAllah, i'll see the others too.  I must say, Surah Al-Imran verses 1 to 51 as contained in the presentation were very well translated, Alhamdulilah .. simple, to the point and comprehensive.  it should be easy to follow even for those not too well versed in English.  Of course, I love the rhythm & flow of old English, thus i'm very comfortable with Pickthall.  but several people today might find that a bit difficult.  in view of this, i am sure they will benefit greatly from your presentation, Allah Willing.  InshAllah, I'll watch the other translations very soon.  May Allah reward you for your efforts and hard work, ameen.

Most importantly, the Arabic recitaiton was absolutely excellent.  It was such a pleasure listening to it and so very refreshing for the soul! 

Praise be to Allah, the One & the Glorious.  And  peace, blessings & love on the last Messenger and all his predecessors.  I can well imagine the incredibly breath-taking and moving atmosphere at the time when 1400 years ago these beautiful Divine words were being recited by the beloved Prophet Muhammad with direct inspiration from the Almighty Allah, the Glorious One!  Alhamdulilah again.

Just finished reading translations and listening to recitations of Surah Maryam and Surah Qaf.  Very well translated, Alhamdulilah. 

Very good coordination too, in that, all translations are very well linked with the original recitations in Arabic.  That enhances the beauty of the presentation. 

Since I'd never before known of this translator, M.A.S. Abdel Haleem, I tried to find some information of him.  At the following link there's an interesting comparison of the new translations of Abdel Haleem with those of Majid al-Fakhry.  I presume, both are from Egypt.
