Stubbornness of disbelievers always has the same pattern (Surah Az-Zukhruf)

" .. They raise not the objection save for argument. Nay! but they are a contentious folk."  (43:58)

This verse basically refers to the people to whom Prophet Essa, son of Maryam, came with the Divine Message.  If you read this Surah you will learn that Allah Almighty mentions that the misguided and arrogant ones laughed at Prophet Essa, rejected him and firmly supported their old ideas of polytheism.  This was the sort of ordeal which every Prophet had to endure - the ordeal of being rejected by the disbelievers.  Thus, Allah very rightly states that their rejection has only one purpose, that is, to argue, quarrel and fight.  Isn't it exactly the same today concerning the attitude of all those who have deviated from Monotheism - Jews, Christians, all polytheists, secularists, atheists and agnostics - in regard to the Monotheistic Faith (Tawheed)?  It sure is.

Spot on!  Human psychology, particularly when it comes to accepting the orders and instructions of The Almighty, has constantly throughout the annals of history had the same trend, that is, extreme stubbornness and belligerence.  They are only paving their own path toward Hellfire.


"Among mankind is he who disputes concerning Allah without knowledge, and follows every rebellious devil."22:3 Surah Al-Hajj.


Such folks will be in for a big and nasty surprise on the Day of Judgement when they realize that those devils and hostile comrades of theirs will not be in a position to help them at all nor speak for them.  Those devil-comrades will be too, too preoccupied thinking how to save themselves from the ultimate disaster .. and there will be no way out.

Absolutely .. that will be a tragic scenario for many folks.   And now, when there is still time left, it's pointless talking to such ones without them erupting into a ball of fury or cynicism.
