This is pretty amazing!  and very cute too .. I love goats!  But ever heard of goats climbing trees?  In Morocco there's a particular breed of goats called Tamri goats.  Also, there's a kind of tree little known outside Morocco known as the Argan tree, about 10 meters high with a twisted trunk.  The Tamri goats, walking on the trunk of this tree, climb right to the top to eat its fruit.  The fruits of the Argan tree are green, somewhat like olives, but larger and more fleshy.  Inside, there is a nut with an extremely hard shell containing one, two or three almond-shaped kernels.  The goats eat the fleshy part of the fruit but the nut remains which is collected by farmers to produce Argan oil.  The production of Argan oil has a lengthy traditional method and is often used for cooking Moroccan food in villages.  Argan oil is expensive to buy, and thus, it's mostly processed at home.   It's also said to have various medicinal properties, such as lowering cholesterol levels, improving blood circulation and strengthening the body’s natural defences.  After the extraction of oil from the nut kernel, what remains is a thick brown-colored paste called "amlou" which is sweetened and served as a dip for bread at breakfast time in Berber households. Its flavor is said to be similar to that of peanut butter.  The wood and nut-shells of the Argan tree are often used as fuel for cooking food in Moroccan villages.

How interesting!  I never knew about this.  Indeed it's amazing.  In one of the pics I can see the goats climbing right to the top where the branches look quite thin and bent and yet the animals seem to be balancing themselves pretty easily.   After all, goats aren't as light weights as birds or monkeys.  I wonder how they are able to do this.  Thanks for the very amazing post, sis ..

This is so sweet.  I too love goats especially these white ones.  If you look closely at their faces, they look a bit like rabbits .. I mean their faces.  And yes, I don't know how they can climb up so high.  Even though the tree is not too tall, yet climbing right to the top on those delicate branches like birds.  Incredible!

“Truth always rests with the minority, and the minority is always stronger than the majority, because the minority is generally formed by those who really have an opinion, while the strength of a majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion — and who, therefore, in the next instant (when it is evident that the minority is the stronger) assume its opinion… while truth again reverts to a new minority.”
