Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

BismEm

It's a very simple point which few even among Muslims understand, let alone non-Muslims.   It's surprising that those who claim to be devout Muslims and profess they read the Quran, do not know the most basic Quranic concept that to acquire maghfirah (acceptance from Allah), only good conduct on earth without belief will NOT suffice.  Almost in every Chapter of the Noble Quran, Allah Almighty has categorically stated the prerequisite for entering Paradise on the Day of Judgement must be belief in HIM as the only Deity and also perform good deeds.  Yet the human mind is so steeped in selfish idiocy that they argue about this point.  Latest sick performance was by a Saudi sheikh named Hasan al-Malki who took the cake claiming even kaffirs can go to Paradise, as if he is the author of the Quran.  It's important, once and for all, to answer this question, not in our words, but in the Words of the Divine Power Himself so that there are no more arguments on this issue in future.

Whenever the laggards are told that being a believer is mandatory for maghfirah, they tend to get agitated, indulge in character assassination, downplay the indispensability of the Noble Quran and its need to be recognized as the Sole Criterion.  A very pathetic attitude without a doubt.

Another common misinterpretation of this Quranic concept is the thoroughly incorrect presumption that everyone with bad earthly conduct can enter Paradise only by the lip service of professing belief.  This is certainly NOT what the Noble Quran means when it confirms repeatedly that belief and righteousness are both preconditions for entering Paradise. The fact remains that disbelief is an unforgivable sin if one dies a disbeliever.  Another usual question that will a "believer" enter Paradise if they die after committing plenty of sins and unrighteous acts?  This is a very stupid query.  If a deceased person's ethical record is filled with sins and little or no righteous acts, then he or she was obviously a "believer" only by lip service which is futile and ineffective in the Sight of The Almighty.  At heart such a person apparently respected and loved Allah no more than any disbeliever otherwise it would be impossible for their practical conduct to be full of wrongdoing at the time of death. If they were true believers then despite their shortcomings and snags, they would have enough good deeds or at least enough good intentions to acquire maghfirah.  When the Quran underscores BELIEF in Allah Almighty alone, it means sincere belief NOT hypocrisy.  So, let us not get into unnecessary arguments.

Read the following Quranic Verses (altogether about 9 Verses quoted).  If anyone thinks that good conduct in this world without belief in Allah is enough for admission to Paradise on the Day of Judgement, then they must explain themselves by picking some evidence from the Quranic Verses quoted below.  Please DO NOT explain by expressing your own view point to presume that disbelievers will also go to Paradise.  That would be unavailing and bootless.  We are not interested in anyone's personal views.  We are ONLY interested in explanation with direct references to the Quran.  If your argument does not conform with the Quran, then it has no value here with us.  In our view the Verses of the Noble Quran quoted below (and there are more which are not quoted here) make it crystal clear that regardless of your conduct, if you are a disbeliever (that is, if you do not believe in Tawheed or Monotheism) you CANNOT enter Paradise.

"Whoso desires the life of the world and its pomp, We shall repay them their deeds herein, and therein they will not be wronged.  Those are they for whom is naught in the Hereafter save the Fire. (All) that they contrive here is vain and (all) that they are wont to do is fruitless."   11:15-16   Surah Hud

Above Verses 11:15-16 convey the message that those who desire the dazzle and glamor of this world and work hard for it without being a believer, will get the fruits of their earthly toil only in earthly life.  In the next life they have nothing to look forward to.  They made efforts only for earthly life without the thought of Allah, thus Allah will grant them the fruits of their efforts only in earthly world and in the Hereafter He will pay no attention to them because they never recognized the Hereafter.  Hence Divine Justice never wrongs anyone.  Perfectly fair.

"Say: Shall We inform you who will be the greatest losers by their works ? Those whose effort goes astray in the life of the world, and yet they reckon that they do good work.  Those are they who disbelieve in the revelations of their Rab and in the meeting with Him. Therefor their works are vain, and on the Day of Resurrection We assign no weight to them.  That is their reward: hell, because they disbelieved, and made a jest of Our revelations and Our messengers."  (18:103-106).

Above Verses 18:103-106 carry much the same information as Verses 11:15-16.  Doing good works with a secular mindset with no thought of Allah will have no value in the Hereafter which Allah explains as "effort goes astray in the life of the world" meaning that their effort has no far-reaching benefits for them (in the Hereafter).

"My Rab inspires in me that your God is only One God. And whoever hopes for the meeting with his Rab, let him do righteous work, and make none sharer of the worship due unto his Rab."   (18:110).

The above Verse 18:110 is self-explanatory, that whoever is desirous of receiving the favor of Allah on the Day of Judgement, that person must be righteous on earth and be a follower of Tawheed (Monotheism) because claiming to be righteous without belief in Monotheism will not be enough for maghfirah in the Hereafter.

"And whoso desires the Hereafter and strives for it with the effort necessary, being a believer; for such, their effort finds favour (with their Rab)."   17:19  Surah Al-Isra

Above Verse 19:19 is also very straightforward.   Striving for the Hereafter with the effort necessary refers to righteous conduct for which belief in The Almighty, The One and Only, is compulsory as confirmed by the words that follow.

"Only those believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate and hymn the praise of their Rab, and they are not scornful,
Who forsake their beds to cry unto their Rab in fear and hope, and spend of that We have bestowed on them."   32:15-16  Surah As-Sajdah

Above Verses 32:15-16 explain the concept of a believer.  Who is a believer in the Sight of Allah, belief in Him being a necessity for acquiring His forgiveness (maghfirah)?   A believer in Allah's Sight is one who believes in the Quran and the previous original Revelations which Allah had revealed; those who perform prostration before HIM only, those who are humble, those who sacrifice their sleep at night to remember HIM and those who give charity to the needy with the love of Allah in their hearts.  The good works of such folks will be rewarded because their righteous deeds were accompanied with firm Faith in Allah and thoughts of Allah.  This does not imply that such people do righteous deeds with Paradise as their sole incentive.  Please know, for a true believer Paradise is not the 'cause' of doing good deeds as blindly and wrongly judged by belligerent secularists.  Rather, Paradise is the reward for them in accordance with the decision of The Almighty and none has the authority nor ability to assume or guess the decisions of Allah Almighty.

"The similitude of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer.  Are they equal in similitude ? Will you not then be admonished ?"  11:24.  Surah Hud.

Above Verse 11:24 expresses a very logical view point.  The disbeliever and believer are compared with the blind and deaf, and seer and hearer, respectively.  Blindness and vision, deafness and hearing, are opposite faculties and similarly a disbeliever is opposite to a believer.  The Quran has made it ample clear that it is the believer who receives the favors of The Almighty.  Thus, the opposite of a believer, a disbeliever, is NOT among those who can be shown favor in the Hereafter.

"Is he who was dead and We have raised him unto life, and set for him a light wherein he walks among men, as him whose similitude is in utter darkness whence he cannot emerge ?  Thus is their conduct made fair seeming for the disbelievers."  6:122. Al-Anam.

The above Verse 6:122 refers to a person who has received Allah's guidance and another person who has not received His guidance.  Raising to life from dead alludes to granting guidance to a person considered worthy of it by his wisdom and efforts.  A state of "utter darkness" alludes to the ignorance of disbelief.  And every disbeliever in this world thinks that whatever they do is right, being convinced of their infallibility, which keeps pushing them deeper into the depth of darkness and the wisdom of guidance keeps getting more elusive for them.  It's the ultimate failure as such folks can hope for nothing positive in the Hereafter.

"But whoso comes unto Him a believer, having done good works, for such are the high stations;"   20:75  Ta Ha.

Verse 20:75 is again self-explanatory.  Coming to Allah on the Day of Judgement having done good earthly works must be accompanied with belief in Monotheism.  Otherwise those good works won't be useful in the Hereafter.

"And he who has done some good works, being a believer, he fears not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage)."   20:112   Ta Ha.

Verse 20:112 conveys exactly the same concept as Verse 20:75 and is self-explanatory too.

Allah Almighty bless you dear Sister for putting up such an important and comprehensive piece despite your very busy schedule.  It's an excellent wrap-up of the Hasan al-Malki post, the link of which you also attached.

For readers information, Verses 92 to 94 of Surah Al-Anbiya (Chapter 21) is also worth quoting:

"Lo! this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.  And they have broken their religion (into fragments) among them, (yet) all are returning unto Us. Then whoso doeth some good works and is a believer, there will be no rejection of his effort. Lo! We record (it) for him."  (21:92-94).

These Verses confirm that belief in Allah alone is mandatory for Salvation.  The Verses also assert that sectarianism is a violation.

Please know, for a true believer Paradise is not the 'cause' of doing good deeds as blindly and wrongly judged by belligerent secularists.  Rather, Paradise is the reward for them in accordance with the decision of The Almighty and none has the authority nor ability to predict the decisions of Allah Almighty.

This is a very intelligent and needful clarification.  I've heard so many of those puffed-up insolent Islamophobes making light of Islam by jesting about the Muslim worship referring to a Muslim praying or fasting that they're "greedy for Paradise" .... the same way as you might talk about a person working overtime for extra money as the cause for it.  As you put it so correctly, Paradise is the reward NOT cause for believing and doing good deeds.  We believe in Allah and worship Him because we feel so much love for Him in our hearts.  Consequently when a believer does good deeds, at that time they don't have Paradise in their humble hearts, but they have the love and gratitude towards Allah in their hearts.  Thus comes the concept of performing good deeds with the thought of Allah in one's heart which is an indispensable part of belief in Allah.

Actually the problem with most of those slowpoke-sluggards is that they want to get the cake and eat it too.  They don't want to follow any rules, make no sacrifices, won't take any steps that might not suit their convenience, thus offering prayers and fasting are too cumbersome for them, they won't even give a second thought to the vital rules of morality because developing a will-power is much too bothersome for them and the bullshit goes on.  Yet when death approaches they have the ass to expect that they will be equal to a believer who worked hard for the pleasure of Allah in earthly world and led a life full of sacrifices.  To be honest,  I find the overly demanding and cheeky attitude of these cocksure underachievers more than just a little irritating.

Mind you, I'm talking about those who call themselves ""Muslims.""  As for the official non-Muslims, many of those are yet another category of buggers who don't even want to accept that Hellfire exists.   Both these groups of crapsters are like brothers in arms.  They find it a pleasure either to attack or distort the Quran.  The common goal is to appease themselves with their self-composed, senseless and badly written lullaby that any bit of ""good"" work on earth will fly them to Paradise as easily as buying a ticket from London to Paris even if they never believed in Allah Almighty or never thought of HIM and never worshiped HIM.  InshAllah, Hell will settle the account of these  presumptuous loafers hankering after freebies.

Thanks sisters.  This effortlessly honest thread is truly uplifting.  SubhanAllah.

LOL ,, that was very vividly put Sister Ruhi .. wonderfully and informally communicative  Cheesy   Felt like you got the words right out of my mouth, sketching the picture accurately in words.  That's exactly the scenario with the entire bunch of the bootless lot.  Despite their arrogance and lethargy, they are scared stiff of the unknown.  Hence, their easy-way-out to comfort themselves is to make up this story that just about anyone (disbelievers included) can enter Paradise as long as they do any bit of "good work" in earthly life.  And for these lowlifes even debaucheries such as idolatry and zina are twisted around as "good work."   You said it right, InshAllah, Hell will settle their account.

Thank you Sister.  Insh'Allah, Allah will bestow on every believer who reads this with acknowledgement and appreciation much sawab (blessings).  The most perfect discourse is to assert one's point in the Words of Allah Himself.  After that there can be no more arguments.  And woe unto that Hasan al-Malki video and it's uploader .. that uploader who wants to promote the video without the endorsement of the Noble Quran.  They are touting that disbelievers can also go to Heaven.  They deserve to be among the nethermost in the Hereafter, Insh'Allah, which will be a far cry from their unjust expectations of entering Paradise.

Those Quranic Verses quoted are exhilarating, Subhan'Allah.  Allah Almighty has made everything so clear, yet the shirkers won't stop distorting the truth.

Some of the very useful clarifications were as follows, quoting in sisters' words.  I request all readers to keep these points in mind.

Another common misinterpretation of this Quranic concept is the thoroughly incorrect presumption that everyone with bad earthly conduct can enter Paradise only by the lip service of professing belief.  This is certainly NOT what the Noble Quran means when it confirms repeatedly that righteousness and belief are both preconditions for entering Paradise. That's exactly how their minds work.  Every sick practice is painted with hyperbolic deception to portray it as the opposite of what it actually is to conceal its degradation and filth.  But only the foolish get fooled by these cheap tricks.

Salaams everyone.  I came across this Verse tonight while reading the Noble Quran and thought it's yet another statement clearly expressed by The Almighty that belief in the Hereafter is an indispensable condition for Salvation on the Day of Questioning.

"Whoso desireth the harvest of the Hereafter, We give him increase in its harvest. And whoso desireth the harvest of the world, We give him thereof, and he hath no portion in the Hereafter."  (42:20)  Surah Ash'Shura.

To desire "the harvest of the Hereafter" refers to those who always have the thought of Allah in their hearts while living their lives in this world.  Thus, their conscience is cleansed and adjusted in accordance with the values & principles of the Noble Quran.  Thereafter, whenever they perform a good deed, the thought of Allah is predominant in their actions.

To desire "the harvest of the world" and subsequently having "no portion in the Hereafter" refers to those who neither love, respect nor remember Allah, people who haven't been able to realize the great importance of Allah as the Ultimate Goal.  It refers to the sort of people who take this world seriously, work hard for it, but look upon Allah as a joke.  Such people, if they toil for earthly materialistic gain, Allah might give them their worldly dues.  But that is as far as these folks can go.  Earthly life is temporary.  When it ends, they are rendered useless.  They have nothing to look forward to in the next world.  They never thought of Allah in earthly world, so Allah will attach no importance to them in the permanent world.

Salams and oh thanks Sis.  This is one of my favorite Verses on this topic, don't know how I missed it.  The references to the subject under discussion are beautifully and eloquently expressed and thanks again for explaining it.  Hope it's easy enough for our readers to follow, InshAllah.

Allah bless.

Also, Verse 39 of Surah An-Nur is a clear assertion by The Almighty that the deeds of disbelievers in earthly world will all fizzle out in the Hereafter.  Even if they had some good earthly deeds in their practical lives but without the thought of Allah, that will not be useful for them.

"As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are as a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one supposes it to be water till he comes unto it and finds it naught, and finds, in the place thereof, Allah Who pays him his due; and Allah is swift at reckoning."  24:39.
