It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

BismEm

"Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life.  And Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude." (2:243) Al-Baqrah.

Please note carefully, this carries a very important meaning and it does not refer that the dead people were brought back to life.  This is the main point that needs to be explained.

The reference is to the Exodus.  As we know, during the Exodus from Egypt while escaping the tyranny of Pharaoh, the Israelites with Prophet Moses had left that land in thousands.  When they came near the promised land, they were perhaps afraid of the locals already residing there and refused to go.  So, Allah let them wander in the desert for 40 years.  This fact is detailed in Surah Al-Maidah, verses 20 to 26.  Forty years is a long time.  It consisted of one long and complete generation of Israelites.  Thus, verse 2:243 quoted above means that during these 40 years the first generation of the Israelites grew old and died and were replaced by their next generation that was apparently reared in the deserts.  The second generation was then possibly overcome by fear and entered the promised land.  Thus, the former condition that includes the first generation which didn't achieve anything is described as 'death' while the second generation and the developments it made is described as being 'brought them back to life.'

This event is best elucidated in the following post with all relevant details.  Do please check this post below otherwise you might still not be able to understand the context of Verse 2:243 entirely.

The Quran does NOT say that Palestine belongs to Jews

“Truth always rests with the minority, and the minority is always stronger than the majority, because the minority is generally formed by those who really have an opinion, while the strength of a majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion — and who, therefore, in the next instant (when it is evident that the minority is the stronger) assume its opinion… while truth again reverts to a new minority.”

Many, many thank Br. TS.  I wasn't sure of the interpretation either.   Sorry for somehow missing out something so important.  I found it a little while ago when I was looking for the interpretation for another set of verses of Surah Al Baqrah (2:72-73) which refers to bringing a dead man to life to show the Israelis a stark miracle of Allah in order to bring them back to guidance.  Yet they didn't make themselves worth of receiving HIS guidance.

"And (remember) when ye slew a man and disagreed concerning it and Allah brought forth that which ye were hiding. 2:72.
And We said: Smite him with some of it. Thus Allah bringeth the dead to life and showeth you His portents so that ye may understand.  2:73.
Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness."   2:74

In this regard let me mention and apologize that the thread I posted regarding V.2:72-73 more than two years ago titled "A possible reference to the man unknowingly slain by Moses" was not interpreted correctly by me.  I got a  mixed up and overlooked some important details.  Prophet Moses (pbuh) by mistake and accidentally killed a man in Egypt prior to escaping to Midian.  That was the only time he made such a mistake.  Verses 2:72:73 refers to the Israelis during the long stretch of the Exodus when they went through several phases of disobedience towards Allah and at a certain time during this period killed a man and then quarreled over it.  Soon after Allah brought the dead man to life to show them His portent that He is able to do all things.

InshAllah, I will soon delete the incorrect post and put up the right interpretation for the benefit of our readers.  My apology again for the mistake.

Big thanks for this Sister Zeynab.   I was reading this Verse in Surah Al-Baqrah today and wanted to confirm the interpretation, so I searched at MV and sure enough found it.  Very sensibly explained.
