Salaam! I registered an account, then I read your rules about joining... I am a muslim and I follow the Qur'an alone and I'm hoping to meet other muslims, inshaa 'Allah.

Walaikum Salaam.  Since the expression "Quran alone" has been misused by many individuals and groups, thus, can you please elaborate your introduction?   Do you have any connections with Free Minds, Rashid Khalifa group, Edip Yuksel, Qadianis or Ismailis?  Or, are your beliefs in conformity with any of theirs?  Furthermore, this is basically a read-only forum.  Therefore it's a quiet place and not a crowded venue like other forums.  It's not the place for meeting too many people but it's certainly the place for reading, learning and sharing.

Iwan haven't you read our rules?  This is a READ-ONLY forum.  Why should we want new members unless we're sure who they are and why they want to come?  Sketchy intros don't explain enough and we need guests to write in greater detail.  If that appears "weird" to you, then why did you come?  Try to be respectful to the views of others.   You've already seen how different our contents are compared to other forums, but you don't know how many gate-crashers have barged in here in the past and tried to trash it when we kept it open to online public during our first 3 years.  So if you don't know what you are talking, just mind your own business and don't interfere when a team member is clarifying matters with a guest.   Thanks and salaam.

“Truth always rests with the minority, and the minority is always stronger than the majority, because the minority is generally formed by those who really have an opinion, while the strength of a majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion — and who, therefore, in the next instant (when it is evident that the minority is the stronger) assume its opinion… while truth again reverts to a new minority.”

Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855)
