It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

 BismEm

The answer is yes.  So, how do we know that the Noble Quran allows us to visit the graves of those who have passed away?

In Surah At-Taubah, Allah, The Almighty has given a lot of information about those contemporaries of the Prophet (pbuh) who outwardly pretended to be good and loyal but were actually the opposite. They were selfish and greedy with no attachment to Faith.   These so-called companions (many of whom indulged in falsehoods against Islam through unauthentic Hadith narrations after the passing away of the Prophet) belonged to the category of "hypocrites" as addressed in the Noble Quran.

"And never (O Muhammad) pray for one of them who dieth, nor stand by his grave. Lo! they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and they died while they were evil-doers." (9:84).

In Verse 9:84, Allah specifically tells the Prophet (pbuh) not to visit the grave of such deceivers.   This is an implementation of a law by Allah.  It is also clear evidence that in normal circumstances believers are allowed to visit the graves of those who were also believers.  Only, as believers, we are not allowed to visit the grave sites of the disbelievers or the hypocrites.  For that reason Allah revealed this Verse to specify the matter.

If we were not allowed to visit the graves of anyone at all, as some hardline Sunnis claim, then apparently Allah would not specify the contents of Verse 9:84 at all.

That's right sis.  This is a good evidence from the Quran about an important matter.  The fact that Allah disallows the Prophet (s) to pray or stand at the graves of hypocrites/disbelievers is evidence that praying or standing at the grave of believers is allowed otherwise Allah would state not to pray and stand before graves at all, hypocrites or whoever.

The only important thing to remember is that while one prays at the grave of the deceased, the prayer must be addressed to Allah alone.  And I'm sure everyone does exactly that.  Whoever doesn't is sinning against his or her own soul.

Yes,, good insight.  Obviously the reason Allah said not to stand at the graves of hypocrites who disbelieved means it's ok to stand at the graves of others who don't disbelieve and are not hypocrites.

Right on my sis.  This is the only vital thing one needs to remember while visiting the grave sites of one's loved ones.
