October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

BismEm

"Say: The angel of death, who hath charge concerning you, will gather you, and afterward unto your Lord ye will be returned."  (32:11) Surah As-Sajjdah.  The Glorious Quran.

By Shaikh Ali Hasan al-Halabi  - excerpt from his writing titled الموت (Al-Mawt or Death)

(The ultimate and unavoidable truth)

"Death is a harsh and often fearful reality faced by everyone who lives.  No one has the power to avoid it, nor does anyone around a dying person have the ability to prevent it.  It is something that happens every moment and is something encountered by the young and the old, the rich and the poor, the strong and the weak. They are all the same in that they have no plan, nor any means of escaping it, no means of intercession, no way to prevent it, nor to delay it.

The righteous will die and the wicked will die.  The warriors who fight jihad will die and those who sit at home will die.  Those who busy themselves with correct beliefs will die and those who treat people as their slaves will die.  The brave who reject injustice will die and the cowards who seek to cling to this vile life will die.  The people of lofty-goals and ambitions will die and the wretched who live for cheap enjoyment will die.

So keep in mind the point of death and of one's passing on to the next life, and the number of sins that one has committed and the small amount of good that one has done.  Think of the good that you would earnestly like to do at that time - then bring that forward and do it today. And think of all those things which you would desire to clear yourself of - then clear yourself from them now."

------

Alhumdulilah, really nice read.  May all of us remember this ultimate and unavoidable final truth and be in a hurry to pile up our righteous deeds .... right deeds than could help us to annul our bad deeds on the Day of Questioning when only our right deeds and sincere intentions will be our wealth to buy us the Mercy of Allah, The Almighty, The One and Only.  If we are successful in this 'transaction,' it will no doubt be our Ultimate Triumph!

Ya Rab!  grant us guidance and protect us from every misguidance.  Ameen.

Very, very nice reminder my brother.  Yes, ALL MUST die.  But after that, it's not the same for all.  Happiness is only for those who believed and did good works, at least some good works enough to make the scale of good deeds a little heavy.

Exactly sis.  You too have put this very well.

We often hear secularists or skeptics say that eventually all will die so why bother?  That's because they don't yet know about the Ultimate Truth - The Day of Questioning.  They think that when they are dead after enjoying earthly life and doing all Haram things, they will be the winner in their graves because they made use of earthly life to the fullest and will not be raised.  How stupidly misguided the human mind can be?  The reality is just the opposite.  It's only after their souls pass away into the next world will they realize how unfortunate they are and how much time they wasted in not working nor preparing for the final Test which awaits them very soon.

Lo! Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. Who fulfilleth His covenant better than Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that ye have made, for that is the supreme triumph.9:111

Salam everyone 😊

I have some discussions to do close to this topic.

First, does Allah Almighty send only Malikul Mawt to gather the soul of the person departing from this world or does Allah also send other angels to accompany Malikul Mawt?   This query comes to my mind from V.7:37 Surah Al-Araf which contains the word "rusuluna" or  'messengers' (plural of messenger) as referred in this Verse.

"Who doeth greater wrong than he who invents a lie concerning Allah or denies Our tokens. (For such) their appointed portion of the Book (of destiny) reaches them till, when Our messengers come to gather them, they say: Where (now) is that to which you cried beside Allah ? They say: They have departed from us. And they testify against themselves that they were disbelievers."  7:37.

Also, please explain what the following line in V.7:37 refers to:  "(For such) their appointed portion of the Book (of destiny) reacheth them till,"

Wa'salam sister.  According to Quranic references I am sure there are other angels who accompany Malik al-Mawt while extracting the souls of those passing.  There are also many other Verses that uses the plural messengers (angels) for similar situations.  InshAllah, let me find more Verses in this connection and I'll post them.   For instance, in V.6:93 Allah mentions the word "malāikatu" or the plural angels:  "If you could see, when the wrong-doers reach the pangs of death and the angels stretch their hands out (saying): Deliver up your souls."  6:93.

"(For such) their appointed portion of the Book (of destiny) reacheth them till," .. this means that they shall live in this world for the term that has been appointed for them by The Almighty and they will get their destined share, good or bad, to pass this temporary life."

Big thanks brother.  Yes, I also found the plural 'angels' is used in other Verses too involving similar circumstances which I am quoting for this discussion.

"If you could see, when the wrong-doers reach the pangs of death and the angels stretch their hands out (saying): Deliver up your souls. This day you are awarded doom of degradation for that you spake concerning Allah other than the truth, and used to scorn His portents."  6:93.

"If thou couldst see how the angels receive those who disbelieve, smiting faces and their backs and (saying): Taste the punishment of burning!"   8:50.

"By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence;  By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed);"  79:1-2.

So, with references of V.6:93. V.8:50  and Vs.79:1-2 can we confirm that the souls of the believers will be taken by Malik-al-Mawt and possibly other accompanying angels gently at the time of passing, while the souls of disbelievers or the disobedient will be drawn out of their bodies harshly?

Absolutely sister, we can definitely confirm that as it's coming directly from the Noble Quran.  We just need to be discernible of the details often stated by commentators and interpreters.  Words in brackets of Quran Verses are the possible explanations.  But only Allah has the final truth.   Many traditionalists have exaggerated the tafsirs of these Verses.  So, I repeat, we we must carefully discern.  E.g. Most traditional tafsirs divide people into two categories - believes and disbelievers.  That is certainly in conformity with the Quran Verses you quoted.  Then the tafsirs say that the angels lift up the souls of the believers with great care.  This too conforms with V.79:2.  Tafsirs also interpret that angels call believers with loved names and the passing soul feels blessed with joy.  This could be true but the accurate details in this regard are known to Allah only.  We do know that believers will be welcomed by the angels sent by Allah, not just while passing away but also while entering Paradise.

"Gardens of perpetual bliss, which they shall enter together with the righteous from among their parents, their spouses, and their offspring;  and the angels will come unto them from every gate [and will say]:  "Peace be upon you, because you have persevered!" How excellent, then, this fulfilment in the hereafter!"   13:23-24.

"And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, "Peace!" "  14:23.

But whatever in this regard has been added by man-written narrations must be left aside for Allah to confirm.  We cannot confirm such information.

Similarly concerning the disbelievers or the zalimeen, we know from the Verses you quoted that their welcoming won't be pleasant at all, and their soul will be taken with disdain.  Anything beyond that could be true but we must leave it to Allah.  Only He knows the details.

For further information, the fact that disbelievers will receive a rude welcoming by the angels coming to gather their souls has been confirmed in the following Verse too:

“And if you could see when the angels take away the souls of those who disbelieve (at death); they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): “Taste the punishment of the blazing Fire”  4:97.

And Verse 41:30 on angels taking the souls of the believers, the righteous.

"Indeed! those who say: Our Rab is Allah, and afterward are upright, the angels descend upon them, saying: Fear not nor grieve, but hear good tidings of the Paradise which you are promised."  41:30.

Very comforting read.   Plenty of shokran for the precise Quranic details, dear Sis Heba.

The other important aspect from Verse 16:32 of Surah An-Nahl.

"The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do." "  16:32

Is this Verse referring to those who have been righteous throughout their lives, or those who were specifically righteous during the time of passing?

This Verse is generally understood as angels taking the souls of those who are in a state of purity.   It can also mean that The Almighty will ordain the passing of the righteous when they are in a good state, that is, state of purity, free from any sins as a special favor from Him to them.  They will be given glad tidings of Paradise and greeted with salaam (greeting of peace).

Also let me mention, there is great concern for those Muslims who are believers yet may die at a time or in a state while they were committing some act of sin or transgression.   So, which of the two groups would they belong to during passing, believers or disbelievers?  Will their souls be extracted gently or harshly?  This is a matter of the unseen, and since it's an aspect that can have many variations in regard to situations /circumstances, only Allah knows the decisions that need to be taken in every differing situation and thus commanding the angels accordingly.  It's impossible for us to comment, let alone confirm anything.
