Why is the Muslim community of today completely losing its sense of balance and the recognition of haqq?

As you all would know, I do call myself a hadith follower, but I'm not of the mainstream hadithers.  Why?  because I accept only those hadith that are 100% compatible with the Quran.  Which would mean that I accept about 30% of the hadith.  Maybe a bit more.

As time passes I've been finding it harder and harder to find friends who are spiritually compatible with me, even though from their perspective I'm 'a partial hadith follower.'  So I can imagine how lonely those would be who do not trust the hadith at all .. even though accepting hadith is not mandatroy and is not at all a part of the 5 pillars of Islam.  And yet, if today you tell a mainstream Muslim that you don't have time to read the Quran, they will say "that's ok."  But if you tell them you don't read the hadith, they'll say "you're an infidel or kafir."

Recently I received a routine newsletter from one of the many Yahoo! Groups called "Basic of Islam."  While a few of the newsletters they send are thought provoking, but I'm sorry to say that majority borders on the kind of superficial values I just hinted upon.  The one I received recently shocked me greatly because it's actually tryin to say that if Muslim men don't grow a beard they'll go to hell.

I request my brothers and sisters to please wake up from this crazy dream, then grow up and try to understand the beautiful ideology of the Quran and the exemplary personality of the Prophet on the basis of the Quranic dictates. 

No one goes to either Jahanum nor Jannah just by growing or shaving their beards!  Allah's standard of judgement is much much higher and goes to much greater depths.

Yeah, I recall forwarding this to you cause it was so stupid. Most of these yahoo groups on Islam are run by closed minded fanatics, usually of the salaf category.  Their scripture is the hadith alone.  Therefore, just laugh and ignore them.  If you take everything they write seriously, the junk will make your head spin like a top!

Actually they're all the same, I mean all sectarian groups.  Hardline ignorant hadither sunnis are scattered all over the web in various forums and yahoo groups.  Similarly, the hub of hardline uneducated hadither shiias is at shiachat.com   It's really hard to say which sect consists of a greater bunch of lunatics .. that's how great a curse sectarianism can be.
