It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

 BismEm

Salams dear all.  Here is yet another plain reminder from Allah for us to be focused on the truth and the necessity of trashing fictions and figments of our minds.

"And verily Joseph brought you of old clear proofs, yet ye ceased not to be in doubt concerning what he brought you till, when he died, ye said: Allah will not send any messenger after him. Thus Allah deceiveth him who is a prodigal, a doubter."  (40:34) Surah Al-Momin.

Plenty of verses of the Glorious Quran prompt us to be introspective in two primary ways:

(1)  To carefully and rationally reflect on  the wonders of Allah, and ....

(2)  To search within ourselves whether or not we are making the same errors as did the people of old.

The above verse nudges us to think of the latter.

There were some people of Prophet Yusuf's (pbuh) community who flouted him and didn't believe in the Message he brought from Allah Almighty. Also, there were some who loved and admired him on account of the greatness of his character which made Yusuf the personification of honesty, justice and humility he acquired through his strong faith in Allah and his far-sightedness bestowed on him through Divine guidance.  But many of his followers were apparently not too wise.  Soon after the death of Prophet Yusuf, they began glorifying and canonizing him as is the common inclination of the majority since time immemorial.  In all such scenarios, there is a human trend to construct stories unwarranted by the Divine Power.  When Prophet Yusuf passed away, a myth created by his followers began to swirl around to the effect that he was the last messenger and none else would come after him, implying the mindset of hero-worship, exaggerated adulation and doting presumed on the basis of personal sentiments.

What does this remind you of?   Plenty, I'm sure.  An identical trend to revere, venerate and deify favorite deceased personalities exist in the minds of so-called Muslims and non-Muslims in much the same way as it did centuries and millenniums ago.  The story of the return of Prophet Essa (son of Virgin Maryam, peace be on them), the return of the untraceable young Imam Mahdi, the false Hadith narrations attributed to Prophet Muhammed (peace be on him) portraying him as an authoritative all-knowing person, and many more similar false narrations attributed to several other Prophets who preceded the final messenger are clear indications of the same frame of mind, same disposition, same temperament and the same inward / insular perception that won't allow them to think on the rational lines instructed by Allah Almighty in His Final Message .. and we confirm it as His Final Message because Allah said so.  We have no authority to confirm any subject, question or contention that stands unconfirmed by HIM.  We simply have to wait until the Day of Judgment to get the final answer on all such issues.

In becoming a victim of our delusional fantasies and weakening our faith in HIM, we only end up hurting our own souls.  Allah states in Verse 40:34 - "Thus Allah deceiveth him who is a prodigal, a doubter."  The term "prodigal" generally refers to  reckless and wealthy spendthrifts who squander their wealth on unnecessary and vain desires with little or no realization of spending for the right causes.  Such a trend is disliked by Allah;  it's not the kind of positive generosity that would help giving us a good report on the Final Day. In Verse 40:34, "prodigal" may carry a more specific reference to mean reckless and hasty in regard to one's thoughts.  A rash and reckless thinker invariable misses out on sensible logic and falls more readily for fallacies.  The mindset basically arises from not making enough efforts to strengthen one's faith in Allah Almighty, resulting in lack of information of His orders and a dismissive approach to His Final Message.  Allah's displeasure of such persons is a lot.  Since these folks make no attempts to reach out to His guidance, He consequently debars them from His guidance.  No wonder, majority of the misguided only continue to grope in the darkness they have voluntarily chosen for themselves.  That is perfectly stated in the last line of the above Verse.

The guidance of Allah is the most precious gem to which nothing else can compare.  Leave no stone unturned in your endeavors to find it.  If your heart is earnest with a 'twenty-four-carat' sincerity toward Allah alone, you will find it a lot more easily than you may presume right now.

Thank you my dear sis for this excellent contribution.  May Allah open the eyes of those who are still asleep so that they can grasp these references and correct themselves.

There are a couple of more similar reminders in the Quran which I will add here.  These reminders are from Surah Kahf.

"(Some) will say: They were three, their dog the fourth, and (some) say: Five, their dog the sixth, guessing at random; and (some) say: Seven, and their dog the eighth. Say (O Muhammad): My Lord is Best Aware of their number. None knoweth them save a few. So contend not concerning them except with an outward contending, and ask not any of them to pronounce concerning them." (18:22)

"And (it is said) they tarried in their Cave three hundred years and add nine.
Say: Allah is Best Aware how long they tarried."  (18:25-26).

This means there are two things about this story which Allah has not disclosed

1.  The number of people in that group who took refuge in the cave.

2.  The number of days, weeks, months or years they might have stayed in the cave.

If you read Verse 18:22, it's clear that people indulged in a lot of wrangling concerning their number.  They also presumed the length of time they stayed in the cave as 309.  But these are all guesswork.  The truth is only known to Him.
