November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

BismEm

Salam kids .. a thrilling idea for an outdoor weekend.

Going bird watching can be one of the best recreational enjoyments for all you kids with plenty of fun.  You don't need to go far from your home to a village or countryside to watch birds.  Different sets of beautiful birds reside in all places.  Even the backyard of your home with grass and and some trees or the balcony of your apartment overlooking a green spot can enable you to view some lovely birdies.  These birding trips can also help you not only to learn about birds but also with your school projects as it provides you with plenty of contents to write about.  The best way to watch lots of birds is to silently sit at a selected spot, don't talk or laugh too loud, don't make too many gestures moving your hands and certainly do not throw anything around like pebbles or paper pellets.  That will scare them away, never to return anywhere close to where you are sitting.   Using binoculars to get a closer look is a good idea.  But lifting it up and down too often while the birds are close by can also frighten them.  If you are bird watching while relaxing on a swing, don't make it move or sway much otherwise you won't be able to concentrate on watching the birdies and they won't come too close either.

Just remember this ideal entertaining hobby to fill up a long weekend.   Bright sunny days are the best.  Mildly cloudy days are fine too.  But if it's rainy or snowy, you won't find many birdies around.

There's more interesting stuff on this.

Soon after we started this forum, Sister Zeynab had written a fantastic little article on her personal experience of bird watching when she was a kid like you guys.  I would suggest, grab the following link and read that piece.  By the way, I've pinched a couple of incredibly cute birdy animations from there.  You can see them below Smiley  And don't forget to read MEMORIES OF MY BIRD WATCHING DAYS.

My cute!   Cheesy  so sweet.  That clipart pic seems 'homemade.'   Smiley  very well made and the animations are heart melting.  Yeah I had read that one by sis Zeynab.  Last year I went bird watching with 2 of my kids and my brother.  Big fun!  My husband prefers watching the birds we have at home  Grin  Unfortunately they're caged but the cage is spacious and I promise they look very, very happy Smiley

So beautiful!  Smiley  O yeah, I know how peacefully comforting and breathtakingly lovely bird watching can be.  Thanks for linking it up with my previous post, sis Ruhi.  It's a great outdoor recreation for kids and parents alike.
