It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

A few years ago Brother Truth-Seeker had put up a very informative article on the tradition of the Christmas tree being a pagan idea with complete details of how this concept began from ancient pagan times.

To know how this practice got linked directly with the Christmas tree, here is another brief piece exposing that connection.

Needless to mention, just as December 25 is not the birth date of Jesus, son of Virgin Mary, the Christmas tree has nothing to do with him either.

The origin of the Christmas tree has direct pagan roots.  Tree worship was common among the heathens for centuries.  Ancient mankind ascribed spiritual qualities to trees.  So-called intellects like the Greek philosophers Plato and Aristotle believed that trees possessed "reason" like humans.  They believed trees had "feelings."  They also taught the idea of apologizing to trees before cutting them down.  According to the superstitions of ancient Egyptians, the life of humans were connected with the existence of trees (in the spiritual / superstitious sense, not environmental).  And the ignorance went on and on.  It's quite a long story.  If you check the encyclopedia on heathen tree worship, it's replete with similar ancient tales.

This tradition was gradually picked up by the Jews in the process of the introduction of various interpolations in the Jewish faith.  One of the versions of the altered Bibles states: "And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the Lord their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchment to the fenced city.  And they set up images and groves [groves of trees] in every high hill, and under every green tree:  And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the Lord carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the Lord to anger." (2 Kings 17:9-11).

The idea of a Christmas tree reportedly originated from Europe in the 1500s, most likely in Germany.  By that time the festive occasion of Christmas (which itself is borrowed from the pagan Roman celebration of Saturnalia  connected with the winter solstice) was commonly observed in Europe.   Unfortunately by the 16th century the Christians of Europe had picked many traditions of their pagan ancestors.  The superstitious notion that came down from generations in Europe was that decorating a tree during the winter solstice celebrations with fruits and flowers would bring a productive agricultural season the following year.  In other words, tree decoration in pagan celebrations was a sort of prayer for prosperous farming after the end of winter, from spring down to autumn. This tradition was called Yule, and even today, the Christmas tree is often called the "yule-tree."   The term "Yule" is sometimes used in English-speaking Christian countries to refer to Christmas. Customs such as the Yule log, Yule goat, Yule boar, Yule singing, and others stem from the pagan celebration of Yule as some neopagans (or the modern pagans) have introduced their own rites and customs.

Hence, decorating a tree remains a part of the Christmas celebration today.  But by and large, probably it's without the superstitious concepts and more on the lines of 'fun' in a secular society.  But that is no reason to continue a pagan practice.

Furthermore, let me also quote an interesting excerpt from one of the articles of Garner Ted Armstrong:

QUOTE:
"But where did the concept of cutting down millions of firs, spruce, or balsams come from? Most authorities agree it stems from the fable of "St. Boniface" who supposedly cut down the "great oak of Jupiter," a tree worshiped by pagan Teutons at Geismar in Hesse, Germany. As the story goes, Boniface, who is also identified as an early English missionary, named "Winfred", came upon a group of heathens who were worshiping at their huge, spreading oak, the "sacred oak of Jupiter."  Prince Asulf was about to be sacrificed to "Jupiter," it seems, until Boniface and his armed men stopped the impending sacrifice and rescued Asulf. Then, Boniface ordered the tree cut down. The legend varies; one version claiming he then planted an evergreen in its place, and another claiming he told the pagans in the next day or so that, by a divine miracle, a little fir tree had "sprung up in its place," and that the new little tree was the "tree of life," and represented "Christ."   Quaint.  Always accommodating, the apostate church and churchmen allowed heathens to cling to their symbols of worship, while merely calling them by a different name."

Thanks for this additional analysis Sis Zeynab.   This means, Saturnalia was the pagan celebration of ancient Rome associated with their pagan deity, Saturn.  And Yule was a pagan celebration in Europe (most likely originated in Germany/Scandinavia).  Both these pagan celebrations have been tied up with Christmas, in that, when Romans converted to Christianity, Saturnalia on December 25 was renamed 'Christmas' and in the 1500s in Europe the rituals of Yule were also implemented in Christmas on December 25 which includes the story Christmas tree and Santa Claus.  All this goes on under the facade of the fraudulent birthday of Prophet Essa, son of Virgin Maryam.   I guess, briefly this is the status of this kuffari.

I seek refuge in Allah Almighty from the horrific misguidance of this world.

Exactly sister Heba .. in a nutshell that was very correctly stated.

And the images on the innovation of Santa Claus is also right on.  To check the history of that, I request our readers to take a look at our previous post, Does Santa Claus originate from the pious St. Nicholas?
