That's an apt one, "happy boo year"  Grin   With the passing of days, one's trust in optimism is finished too.  The international criminals ruling the world with their minions running the national communities, can there be anything positive to expect, no matter what numbers you put on the calendar year?

So, as the calendar jumps to the title of 2018 of January 1, it's now 10.50 morning here, and my husband and I have already been inundated with "new year" greeting calls from friends for a happy year in a better world.  They mean well, but poor folks.  They overlook that the world is rapidly getting full of selfish and cruel people.  Allah Almighty helps only if the people work to make this world a better place.  A mere change of year with new titles is useless if the people keep leeching on to their status quo.

Spot on as you always are dear Sister.  This is a perfect comment on the new year's first day.  On this day home phones, cell phones and the social media are buzzing with new year greetings, but based on no logic whatsoever .... without an iota of indication that the ones in power desire to change this world for the better.

True right through and through Sisters.  Look at the world and its news.  Everything getting scarier, dirtier.  Even the UN chief issued "red alert" for 2018 in his new year speech.  For 2019 it could be worse but I'm darn sure not better.  So, what are these folks bubbling about, I just don't get it?
